We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Umino Ryotei Okinawa Nakamasou is a very traditional Japanese hotel, but everything was kept to a very high standard. The view from our room was absolutely phenomenal and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive.
We especially enjoyed the breakfast. Every morning we received something different, with two Japanese style breakfasts and one Western style breakfast during our stay. The gentleman serving breakfast was one of our highlights. He was so kind and always tried his best to communicate with us in English, which we really appreciated.
Another highlight were the four cats living at the property, especially Taro and Hana. We were allowed to feed and pet them, and it was lovely to see how well the staff take care of them.
The onsen was also very clean and well maintained.
This is really complaining on a very high level, but we would have appreciated a more modern hair dryer in the room and onsen area.

The design, the seaside location with amazing view, the food, quietness, spacious, etc
Everything is pretty nice! If I would have option to stay in not the ground floor which has blocked view to the amazing sea view…

No water in our room! They insist to tell them what time we’ll have our breakfast providing us certain options
The staff spoke very poor English
