Nestled in Bakersville, this charming cabin for $98 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The property is a sophisticated cabin with artful furnishings. A place of peace and beauty to watch the light and clouds changing the view of the mountains, both from indoors and out. A place we love to be for a time of peace and renewal. All of the front windows have a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance. The field in front is often populated with cows, donkeys, deer and turkey. In May and June it is filled with fireflies.

Cabin was as described and pictures were accurate. Peaceful location with great views including some wildlife (deer, turkey). Great getaway for a super reasonable price. Even though there was no air conditioning and property description shares this fact - with the windows open and fans circulating temperate was comfortable (visit was mid-June).

Cabin was as described and pictures were accurate. Peaceful location with great views including some wildlife (deer, turkey). Great getaway for a super reasonable price. Cabin was clean. Views of nature and the doe and her 2 fawns were mesmerizing. Have to drive a distance to do anything. We did not get much sleep due to the poor mattress. No cable and the television had no remote and was of smaller size. DVDs provided, but would have liked more up to date movies and maybe add some comedies. There were a few spiders we had to kill in the bathroom and near the bed in the bedroom which made it even more difficult to sleep. We do recommend Homeplace Brewery about 12 miles away in Burnsville. Great atmosphere, beer and food.

We loved everything, the views was beautiful. The cabin was spotless. Easy access in and out. Everything was perfect for our little get away.

Blue Haven was a perfect mountain get-a-way with beautiful views and a charming aesthetic.
There is no internet and limited cell reception which we very much enjoyed during our stay.
It's pretty close to Bakersville downtown and about 30 minutes from Burnsville where there are a few more shops and places to eat.
We definitely plan to make another trip here!
