It was just OK

breakfast and room size was ok

firstly there were NO safety Lockers in the room. We had to carry out passports and monetary currency everywhere. Secondly the hotel is situated very far from the city.

A practical hotel

Staff are very friendly, breakfast is excellent. Nice to have a pool table too.

In room facitilities are minimal, two small towels per guest! Coffee making facilities are very basic with not enough creamer!

A good hotel for a city trip but not within walking distance of the city center.

The breakfast was very good, fresh homemade food, good supply of everything. Rooms were clean. Staff very friendly. I liked the fact that they offered the possibility to book housekeeping so not every day somebody comes into your room.

1. The rooms on the front of the hotel are quite noisy because there is a very busy road on that side. Once you shut your window you don't hear anything but if you like to sleep with windows open you should ask for rooms on the back of the hotel. 2. In the information it said there was subway access but there is no subway near the hotel. However, there is a bus going into town (bus 7A), busstation only a few minutes away from the hotel. Coming back with bus 7A is a longer way as it does not take the same route back. 3. In the room we missed a small water cooker. This was only meant for the more expensive rooms, not for the standard rooms. So when you come back after a long day in the city you can not make a cup of tea or coffee in your room, instead you have to go down to buy something from a machine for 34 kronen (quite expensive for a cup of hot water). It would add to my guest satisfaction if you would put a small water cooker in all the rooms.

We wouldn't stay there again.

car park was near the hotel, good breakfast, shower,

room in the 2nd floor facing the street was very noisy, only bearable with closed windows, We were told we had to accept this room because of our dog, they didn't try to find another room.

There is metro station near the hotel as they say in the description of the hotel. Only bus stop (in the front of the hotel) or train station (approximetly 20 minutes walk)

Lovely hotel- but location isn’t close to city

No ac in the rooms Hair dryer wasn’t working in my room Location- if you want to easily get into the city, it’s 2 buses

Surprisingly good

The hotel is clean, breakfast is good and there is free parking in front of the building. Rooms aren't cleaned daily by default but this can be requested at the front desk. The staff will go out of their way to help. Last time we stayed in a more expensive hotel with more stars down town; the cheaper Scandic turns out to be the better option.

There is no water, tea or coffee in the rooms.

not worth it

the hotel beds were really really bad. I woke up to terrible back pain every day. the room and washroom was ok but not worth the price I paid. it was more of a ibis budget type of hotel experience. and I paid way more than ibis budget type of hotel.

Our stay at the Scandic Synhavn was very nice. I was disappointed with this location

Convenient location

The lobby area was congested and very loud. The breakfast area was also loud and too crowded. Too many tables in such a small space which also made it a long wait for coffee and some food items. The beds were too soft for me and I actually had to sleep on the floor to keep my back from hurting.

The location is quite far from the city center. And also the construction was going on, so it was quite difficult to manage without a taxi. There was no In room service so as we arrive late, we couldn't enjoy dinner. Order food through WOLT (an app very popular in EU countries).

The check-in was not pleasant. The staff gave us the wrong room. While I notice after a while, one of my friends went to reception but they argue and deny. Then we show them the booking details and all, then it took again half an hour to shift room

Just for sleeping, absolutely ok.

The staff was friendly and called me a cab when I asked them to. It was clean.

The bed was comfy but its two single beds put together - so theres a gap. I had to put a blanket in the "gap" because I kept falling into it (its two small twin beds). The breakfast was ok - a bit disappointing for Scandic - very limited.

Room itself was nice, but with complications. A good view to a small harbour. Excellent breakfast. Free parking. A hotel we have often enjoyed.

We were always happy to stay at Scandic Sluseholmen. However, this time, we had a room just beside the elevators. It was a constant noise until early night. And again from very early morning. I woke up 0600, and could not sleep more for it. I did complain, upon check out, and asking if some kind of compensation could be granted. But the hotel employee refused. So for a price of DKK 1800, I had expected a good nights sleep - and not being woken by noises from the hotel installations. Therefore, not so satisfied this time. It should be mentioned, I booked this hotel months in advance of our stay.
