It’s clean and tidy. All amenities, condiments that we’ve needed are there.

The location of the apartment was about a 30 minute walk from the main town of Reykjavik. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable and had everything you needed, from pots and pans to oils and spices. There was also a fair amount of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner available which was a benefit. The apartment was over the road from a small supermarket, bakery, Chicken Take Away and Pharmacy. Within a 5 minute walk you were in a a very nice shopping mall. The location and spacious apartment were excellent. There was also a washing machine and tumble drier in the communal area which was really helpful.

The cleanliness of the apartment was not great, it wasn't bad but there was a fair amount of dust and in the main bedroom there were brown streaks down the walls like someone had thrown a cup of coffee up it. I asked whilst i was away where do you put the rubbish and never got a response, there was no large bins outside so it was a case of just dump outside the door. Overall communication with the agency looking after the apartment was a bit poor if i'm honest but was adequate. IT would of been nice to have a welcome pack, with some brochures or just a hello. Have visited many placed all over the world and this place was certainly on the better side. Iceland is a fantastic place but my word it is ludicrously expensive.

The second apartment was okay but we had booked a 4 bedroom apartment and got a 2 bedroom apartment.

When we arrived the apartment hadn't been cleen after the previous stay. It was absolutely disgusting. The owner gave us another apartment but it was much less comfortable than the one we had booked. He didn't even had the attention of calling the next day to see if we were okay. We ended up having to share beds. Very disappointing.
