Our family really enjoyed our winter get away at Georgetown Lake. The cabin had ample room for our group of five. We prepared nice meals in the well-appointed open kitchen. The view from the kitchen and living room is spectacular. Our trip ended up being during the middle of a -25 below zero cold snap but not even a cool draft in this well-designed mountain retreat. We bought our ice fishing equipment and had a blast catching Rainbow and a few bonus brook trout. Amazing place and fantastic hosts. Looking forward to a return trip! Five Stars

Our group of friends and family enjoyed a quiet Thanksgiving weekend... lots of puzzling, knitting, and long walks. We built fires every day, which was such a treat. For those of us who needed more light in the evenings, a couple of floor or table lamps in the living room area, and reading lamps in all bedrooms (both sides of the bed) would be a great addition! If you are a knitter with aging eyes, bring a headlamp :)
Oh, and be careful on the front patio and driveway... there are a couple of spots that got really icy and slick where water came off the roof. Overall, very cozy and lovely home - we hope to return! Thanks May!

This incredible home offers breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset. Perched above the lake just minutes from snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, or skiing at Discovery, you can warm up and relax next to the woodstove. The style and architecture is calming and beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for large meals or snacking. Downstairs provides a great second living area for kids. Cozy beds, fresh linens and comfort around every corner. May is an incredible host and this vacation rental is one of the best we have every stayed in. Highly recommend!

Home had plenty of room. It was well stocked with things we needed, except no dish clothes and in need of new wash cloths. Oven and oven hood needed to be cleaned. Oven started smoking when we turned it on. Overall I great mountain home to rent.

The property was perfect for our annual friends trip! It was clean and easy check in and out! The space was lovely with amazing views of the lake and the mountains! Definitely want to come back for the winter!!

The house is beautiful with lots of space and beautiful views but... there is no ac (that's fine most don't) with lots of windows that open a little at the bottom but not enough to get a breeze to cool the house off and only one little floor fan for the entire house. The Wi-Fi is worthless, even for just one device. The only bathroom on the main level is the master bedroom bathroom with no door on the bed area so there is no privacy. The master walk-in shower would have been nice if there was a shower head, i was told its on order when i messaged to let them know, there is a rain head with the ceiling paint peeling off all around it. The toilet seat in the basement bathroom is broken and slides when you sit on it. The washing machine is not the nice new matching one in the pictures, it is a mismatch set that smells like mildew. The kitchen has everything you need, they have condiments in the fridge for you but I had to clean out the expired stuff and toss so my family didn't use on accident. Upon arrival all the towels were in the dryer and I got to fold the previous peoples towels and put them away. The house smelled really clean but the counters looked like the cleaning person used a dirty rag to wash them. The grass is close to the fire pit and 2 feet tall so we were scared to have a fire in the firepit unfortunately. This is probably a great house for the winter but our family experience was left lacking.

We stayed for a long girls weekend. Beautiful scenery. The house has everything you need and plenty of space. Its large but cozy. May was a pleasure to work with and communication was excellent. We are already trying to get dates together for our annual fall girls weekend in hopes of staying here again.

Great weekend with five friends spent skiing at Discovery Ski Area and catching up. The house has a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Short drive to the ski resort. Great long weekend in a comfy spot.

The only complaint I have is that while we were sitting by the AWESOME bbq you could get wiffs of the septic tank I am not sure if it was full or bad luck but that was the only downside.

Family Ski Vacation!
Wonderful. Had a hiccup with the hot water and we weren't sure how to troubleshoot. Was nervous to hit any switches, but we needed hot water and by morning it seemed to work.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and home. Discovery is an easy drive for a fun day of play. The home was very clean, loved the open space to gather and play games. Good setting info update?
Nice property, enjoyed the hot tub, view, and wildlife that visited. We ended up checking out early due to weather. Only thing I would have liked to know before was the short rail on the loft. Had to watch my toddler closely since she likes to climb.

Great place to unwind and down shift
The house was as advertised. Very clean and nicely decorated. The location and view were fabulous this house is perfect for groups or for us it was just two of us and the house was quiet and comfortable.
