Excellent breakfast. We asked for fruit and thei provided. Nice hosts.

Holzhaus is a very cool and modern place built as a modern structure. The bedroom we had was extremely clean and very well appointed. We had an amazing rest with a very comfortable bed. What's unique about this place is how calm and quiet it is at nighttime. Our hosts provided a wonderful continental breakfast. We had a fantastic time spent at Holzhaus and highly recommend this place for a short or longer stay around Aix-en-Provence. The drive to the center of Aix was around 10 minutes. We didn't mind because we had a car rental.

Location was approx 10 minutes out of town, very quiet. The breakfast was amazing, set up out in the garden. Hosts were the most beautiful couple.

Close to both Aix & Marseille, in peace of nature with big garden perfect for relax. Really nice & helpful owner, original wooden house which (with good care) stays cool even in hot summer day.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were welcomed with some delicious calissons and a bottle of cool water, which was much appreciated after a long day of driving. We were travelling with our 8-month old son, who unfortunately got ill during our stay. We received all the assistance we needed to get in touch with a local doctor, and when our car refused to start at the time of leaving, we were even helped jump starting the engine. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and was delicious. The apartments are a work of art both in terms of eco design and comfort.

No fridge,no A/C! The house is plaqued with wood on exterior and without A/C it was awfully hot! I needed to ask the owner to put and give me stuff from his fridge,not OK at all,we couldn't have a cold water at our disposal without a fridge in the room. The worst thing was the smell in the room...oh boy...a sewage...I was forced to pick lavander flowers to put under my nose to be able to sleep. Bad mistake booking this place.

The hosts are extremely nice. They even picked us up at the train station as we had a problem with our car rental. They Also gave us a ride to a restaurant and to pick up our car the next day!!! Breakfast was awesome!!!

We were there for the hot season, as there is no air conditioning nor fan it was very hot. We recommend it better for another season.
