Comfortable, charming, back in time, welcoming.
It is a charming place. I felt like I was part of a medieval castle in a 13th-century village !! I slept like a baby. I had everything I needed. Everything is close by, coffee places, restaurants, stores, and ice cream places! Did some souvenir shopping and antic too. On the back street, there is a Romeo and Juliet balcony !! I loved the vibe surrounding it. I fell in love with Viterbo. I am definitely going back next year. So much more to explore in this area than I expected. Thank you Maria Cristina for sharing this place with me.

Comfortable and well located. If you’re visiting Viterbo, this is the place to stay!
The attention I received from the owners was very friendly and prompt. The room was much bigger than I needed, great for a longer stay. (I stayed two nights.) The central location within the walled city was ideal for exploring Viterbo. I made some purchases on multiple excursions and easily was able to return to my room and store them there before going back out. For meals, I recommend Taverna Etrusca—excellent gnocchi and a perfect soup with chestnuts, squash, and pasta. Most locals don’t speak English, but I was quite successful with my attempts to communicate in Italian!
My only disappointment was that I wasn’t able to use my breakfast coupons because I needed to start my day earlier than the Happiness Caffè opens. However, Maria Cristina (the owner of the hotel) told me to order an aperitif on her tab.

Location is great, staff is helpful, room is clean, comfortable
The location is great in the old town, close to the Porta Romana train station, 10 min walk to the University of Tuscia. Staff is very helpful- booked a taxi for guests, supportive to the guests needs, connection with the hosts is eazy, thanks for such kind of approach.
Bathroom needs to be a bit renovated
