Absolutely amazing location, in the Hutongs 20mins south of Tiananmen Square.
The Booking.com directions to the hotel are totally wrong. Enter “Yinmo Hotel, (Beijing Tiananmen Square Quianmen branch)

Very cool location on street with lots of local food shops. They made up the room and brought fresh towels every day which is rare for hotels nowadays. Right across the street from a tour agency as well with great prices. Booked a Great Wall tour for 200RMB. Very nice and cool restaurant & bar on the first floor with special prices if you’re staying at the hotel.
The address was incorrect in booking.com and the hotel seemed to know this but hadn’t fixed it yet. Took us about 30-40 minutes and multiple phone calls to find the place. Please fix this, especially for people who won’t have cell phone service and can’t speak Chinese this would have been extremely difficult!
Little to no English was spoken but again, it is China. Just bring Google Translate and you’ll be alright.
