Unhappy and disappointed, wanted to leave immediately in the morning a noisy dog barked all night

Did not eat there

The room was in poor condition. The door lock was falling off and would not work properly. Floor tiles were loose. The place was rated as a 3 but was only a 1 The photos were not a proper representation of the property. The plumbing leaked and everywhere need maintenance. It was overpriced for the condition it was in.

I want the full refund as promised by the Manager, due to our room flooding, fridge didn't work, we lost all our food, poor wifi and they couldn't accommodate us for a 2nd night. I own an Airbnb in PVallarta, and this is ridiculous!

Screaming kids, poor/no wifi, flooding WE had to clean up, filthy floors, fidge & freezer didn't work - we lost all our food, rude Manager.

Terrible hotel, do not stay here.

I have been travelling around Nayarit, Mexico for two months with some friends. This was by far the worst accommodation that we have stayed in. We all agreed on that once we left. I cannot think of a single nice thing about our two night stay at Posada El Balcon. The only reason we didn't leave or switch hotels after the first night was because one of my friend was not feeling well on our second day, and didn't have the energy to move hotels. Do not stay at this hotel!

We paid a little extra to have the nicest room available for our two nights, (supposedly, according to the information on Booking.com). The room was terrible. The air conditioner seemed to be at least 30 years old, and was as loud as a motorcycle. The bathroom was the worst bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel - and I've travelled in over 20 countries in my 10 years of travelling and working internationally. The toilet had no seat and did not flush properly. There was no toilet brush, or any other normal sanitary items, the sink was tiny and very difficult to wash my hands in, and the only mirror in the room was broken an just balanced lazily on the dirty, tiny sink. It was almost funny how bad this hotel is. The pool was also very dirty, and had several large dead insects that were not removed over our two days there. The pool appeared to have no filtration system, and the water was green and murky. We did not use the pool, but we walked by it several times and sat near it to use the wifi. The wifi does not work in the rooms, you have to sit by the pool in some cheap plastic chairs. Also, there is a large gate that provides access to the hotel that is never locked. We were told this is the only way in and out of the hotel after reception hours. Meaning that any random person could enter the hotel at any time (there is no security, and the unlocked entrance is clearly visible from the street). The cost of the room was a little lower than some other hotels in the area, but I would recommend to anyone that it is not worth the small amount of money you may save. Do not stay at this hotel!

The room was exactly what I expected for twenty-five dollars and I found it to be a good bargain

No breakfast included. The room was clean and airy and there was hot water in the shower although it took a couple of minutes to show up, the toilet was clean. The Posada is next door to an Oxxo store and just two blocks from the beach, which can be reached by walking through the grounds of Decameron Los Cocos. Great value for the price

The sheets on the bed were paper-thin and were useless because they kept bunching up, leaving me sleeping on the bare mattress. The mattress was adequate for me although maybe a little too old-fashioned springy for some pickier travellers.

I really didn’t want to stay at the place any longer so I checked out two days early

The price was not as shown ,construction in and around the pool,construction in apt below my room I.e. sledge hammering the walls at 7:00 am,hazards walking over new concrete on two by ten boards to get to my room!
