The Riverside Cottage is located in the heart of the East Burke Village. This beautiful historical cottage is conveniently located within walking distance to the local restaurants, pubs, cafe's, Tiki bar, Kingdom Country store, Ice cream shop, Bike shop and gas market. More importantly, jump on your bike and go... you are on the trails in minutes!!! After a day on the trails or wherever your adventure takes you, shower outdoors, grill, entertain on the outdoor deck or sit around the fire pit and reminisce of the day...

Nice property, very spacious outdoors with 2 decks overlooking the backyard abutting the river. Front yard a bit shallow and close to route 114. Main floor comfortable and conducive to family gatherings, kitchen well appointed and easy to prepare meals and dining room comfortably seats 8. Bedrooms a bit tight but not an issue if you’re enjoying the outdoors!

We had a wonderful time staying at the riverside cottage. It was exactly as described. Clean, kitchen was well stocked, extra gas for the grill was great! Outside dining area and firepit by the river was awesome. We spent time playing in the river and kicking ball in the yard. Location to trails was a plus. We will be back!

Great place to stay when visiting Burke Mountain! Quick 5 minute drive to the mountain. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Very nice property! Cozy, clean and tidy. This is an "intimate" property meaning there are few places to distance yourself from others. If weather permits the yard is spacious and the upper deck is a great place to hang out. So, if your group gets along and plays nicely together, look no further you won't be disappointed.
Access to bike trails was excellent, literally a short ride from the house. Also very close to Burke Mt ski area if that's on your list of reasons to visit the area.
I'd stay here again and recommend this property to family and friends. I can think of no higher review.

We stayed two nights at this property and had a great experience - it exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it. Great location, clean, charming, and well set up for mountain bikers. We are already thinking about our next stay. Only bits of feedback would be that (1) there is a damp/mold smell in the downstairs bath room (2) the multiple tv remotes are challenging to use, and (3) it’s possible to lock yourself out on the up stairs deck - I did and had to wait until someone got home to let me out! The owner might address with a different locking system. Otherwise a great stay.

Perfect place for trip to KT. The location was perfect for getting to the trails and walking to restaurants and ice cream. The outdoor fire pit and the creek also got good use. Great trip!

We loved our stay, it was great to have the brook right there to dip in between rides and the ease of walking to town was great with young kids.

Top Class
This place is terrific. It has everything you could need for a mountain bike trip to Burke. Super comfortable, spotless, right in the middle of the village. Bike wash, bike stand, secure storage, great outdoor space. Will definitely be back.

Mountain Bike Trip in East Burke
This is my second time here and it was just as nice both times. The location is superb and the house is immaculate. The attached bike shed is amazing. Best suitable for 3 people and no more than 4.

Incredible location for mountain biking and post-ride river dunks to cool off. Owners are super nice and absolute pros in the rental game. The amenities for mountain hiking and proximity to town/trails is unmatched. Don’t rent this because I want it all to myself.!

This property was a pleasure to stay in -- totally stocked kitchen, firm beds, and a lovely riverfront property where you can enjoy a G & T by the water after a day of riding. The entrance to the Uptown trail is a minute's ride away, you're five minutes from Darling Hill and walkable to downtown East Burke. Great bike shed with tools, bike shower, and ample space to store your gear. The location can't be beat. Hosts are accessible. Stocked full of stuff for kids, too - nice bonus. We would stay here again.

Wonderful space, great location
The house is just as shown in the listing, with plenty of space for a group. The location on the river is lovely, and you're just off the main (but not busy road) that connects to the small town center. We came in the winter and were super close to Burke Mountain, which made getting up for first chair on a snowy day incredibly easy. The Kingdom Trails literally go through the back yard, which makes it easy to get into nature. Finally, the house is well-stocked with all the supplies, games and thoughtful touches you need for a weekend away.
