Loved it, very clean and comfortable. The location was good and it was quiet at night despite us being near bars and restaurants. We had a really nice stay and would stay again, I’ve already recommended it to friends. The check-in process was easy and the owner was very responsive to questions.

Clean , updated, excellent lighting , had cold water and wine in the fridge upon arrival which was great after hot travel day. Within the wall
No soap in shower , slanted ceiling in bathroom was low for a tall person like myself as I bumped my head. 110 steps to get down to the main road in the old town.

Location was good. Nice to have access to coffee in the mornings. The host left a bottle of wine for us upon arrival which was nice.
We were told that early check in was not possible upon arrival, which is understandable and not that big of a deal. However, when we were checking out the host would not allow for our bags to be left for a couple of hours due to an early check in of the next guest. This was inconsistent. Check in times and baggage are a major issue with this location due to the steep stairs leading to the location. Flexibility would have been appreciated to make check-in/check-out more convenient.
Also, the shower drain was terribly clogged with hair and instantly pooled with water. It had probably never been cleaned. To avoid the bathroom from flooding I removed the shower drain trap and unclogged the drain that was full of hair. When we mentioned this issue to the host no response was provided at all. Strange.
This location is not suitable for anyone who has physical limitations due to the stairs, but anyone who has researched the layout of dubrovnik should know this already before booking.
