An excellent stay in a beautiful appartement

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful appartement ! Our host was perfect and everything went smoothly. It's directly located at the Duoro and calm. We definetely reccomend it and would love to come again.

Great location if you want to stay in Gaia with a few faults

Great location for our purposes, nice little balcony overlooking the Douro, responsive hosts, and very easy parking (both on street and private garage parking if needed). Hard beds but that's my preference so that was fine for me. Would recommend and consider staying again especially if visiting outside of the summer months.

As many other guests noted there is no air con and the upstairs room does get quite stuffy even with the fans going and the window open as the air still doesn't circulate much up there. Luckily for us there wasn't a heat wave the weekend we were in Porto but I can imagine if it's 35+ degrees it would be difficult to sleep up there. The lighting system is really strangely designed and was quite confusing even for relatively tech savvy guests, and served no useful purpose that I could discern.
