Great location.
The building is a bit old. The room is ok but from the pictures it maybe looked a bit nicer. Staff were friendly, but upon check out they claimed two towels were missing from our room. We didn’t have to pay any fee in the end, as we insisted we hadn’t even been provided with these two additional towels, but it was unpleasant. They also asked for a deposit upon check-in that was not advertised. You are required to use the bath towels for the swimming pool as no additional towels are available.

Good location, walking distance to many attractions- particularly food, drinks and shopping. The decor in the rooms is fun and interesting - not your typical room for sure. Good shower and decent lighting in the bathroom.
The doors, while very fun and historically atheistic looking, do not block out the heat, sound, smells of bugs. It was difficult to keep the temperature of the room comfortable, I had to go buy bug spray to keep the mosquitos off (I was covered in bites), and the people in neighbouring rooms loved to party late into the night (3-4am). They would frequently do so on the open breezeway so they were literally right outside my door, usually smoking too. If you’re into a fun party this may be your place, but for me I wanted a sanctuary away from the heat, and a restful sleep. I would have lived this in my 20s or 30s.
