The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated with high-quality fittings and had a lovely large balcony with an awning. We had our own kitchen which was well-equipped, the shower was brilliant and the bed comfy. It was just a 2 minute walk to a 'Backer Schmidt' bakery/cafe which served delicious bakery goods and cooked food - highly recommended! It was a 10-15 min walk into the centre of Schwabach where we enjoyed great Italian meals at Restaurante Rosetti and Fabiano in the main square. The apartment's hosts were very friendly - they spoke limited English but that far exceeded our German skills! A lovely couple who left beer and wine in the fridge as a welcome. You access the property through the main front door but have your own keys to come and go as you wish and the apartment is completely self-contained. We were very happy with the decor and cleanliness of this lovely apartment and we would both recommend it and stay there again. We were there for the Challenge Roth ironman triathlon and it was a perfect location for that.
