Nestled in Bridport, this charming house for $141 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Perfect for your affordable family getaway, romantic weekend, or a fun get away with friends. The Spa Retreat is situated walking distance to the lovely 10km wild flower reserve walking/biking track, beach, tennis courts, shops, pubs and the Australian Café of the year, The Bridport Café. A short drive and you can find yourself at Barnbougle and the Lost farm, the world renown Links Golf courses, along with there outstanding restaurants and bars. (be sure to book ahead for a table) In under a 30 minute drive, you can be at the cellar door of Pipers Brook Vineyard, and the famous Janzz winery. Along with lots more boutique style wineries along the beautiful wine route. Bridport is close to Launceston ( under an hours drive) and there are lots of places to check out on the way. A short drive of just 45 minutes will have you arriving at, world class BLUE DERBY mountain bike trails, or HOLLYBANK mountain bike trails. The Spa Retreat has a lovely beach house feel, with large deck overlooking spectacular views. Cool off in the spa while relaxing through the day, or enjoy a wine and the warm massaging bubbles of an evening, a perfect way to end any sort of day on the coast. Take advantage of the double kayak for hire, and explore the river and coast line around through the old Pier. Activities hub The spa retreat is the perfect location to base yourself for a an activity filled, action packed holiday. The house is beautiful, easily big enough for a family or 2 to share.
Fully equiped kitchen for cooking in, laundry with access to dryer or clothes line in tidy back yard.
Hot tub was amazing with gorgeous views out over the bay, only issue was it went cold over night despite lid being put on when not in use, may have been something we didn't do.
Short but very steep walk to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful view of the beach from the deck. The deck houses a spa, outdoor furniture and a bar. Inside is a comfortable place to call home during your stay, being a small town we happily had a chat with a few neighbours and they were very welcoming and friendly.
I look forward to planning my next trip there.

I booked the Spa House for overseas family to enjoy. We had a lot of difficulty with heating the spa which was very frustrating. When we did get in on our last day, when it was tepid, some jets weren't working. Contact with the owner was via email, no-one local to assist. I was advised I didn't book a hotel, so shouldn't expect that kind of service. We advised the owner of a few other issues upon departure, so he is aware.
The Spa House is a nice property but a few issues marred what should have been a fabulous getaway.

Lovely clean property however we were charged an additional cleaning fee despite being without basics like light globes and gas for the BBQ. No response to communication from host.

We love this place. Plenty of room to spread out and feel you're having a break. Place has a great vibe, that's why we keep coming back.
Hot tub in winter is the best, as are the sunrises and sunsets from the spa and balcony.

Great location in heart of Bridport.
Nice and private with stunning views over the ocean. Hot tub was a fave with our family! Kaiden was great to deal with. Will definitely be booking again!

Our Favourite Spa House.
Our rental really felt like a home away from home. We golfed, hung out on the beaches, toured the lavender fields and ate out @ Bridport’s restaurants. Coming back to the bright sunny rental for our 3 nights was rather pleasant. We used the hot tub each evening.
We were a 3 generational family visiting Bridport for our 1st time.
My husband and I are golfers and thoroughly enjoyed the two outstanding local courses.
We all plan on returning in a couple of years (my husband & I live in NYC) with our kids & grandkids. We hope this house will be available then.

Good but
House is beautiful and was everything we hoped. There were a few minor things that need to be replaced or cleaned properly. We couldn't use the Weber as is kept catching on fire due to it being so dirty, the vacuum cleaner cord won't stay out and the dust pan was smashed. Apart from those few minor things, the house was amazing and was perfect for our first family holiday to bring in the new year :)

Bridport Spahouse
We recently had a family getaway and this property was wonderful. Walking distance to the beach and the spa was heaven to get into at the end of a day sight seeing. Neighbourhood is quiet and the view from the deck is fabulous.
One suggestion to the owner would be perhaps make the spa instructions available somewhere. Having said that we did contact the owner who was a great help.
We will be back in July if it is available :)

We were disappointed that the fire was not working. Beautiful bathroom renovation. The spa needed cleaning and maintenance
