Nestled in Long Lake, this attractive house for $586 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. 'Cape Monday Cottage' at Long Lake is your lake house to enjoy time away from it all. Situated 40 feet from the lake, Cape Monday Cottage delivers gorgeous views of the lake from the first floor living area and deck. Fish from the dock, nap on the hammock, swim in the lake, enjoy unrivaled sunsets from the firepit, play ping pong in the basement - you'll have a vacation to remember. The Cape Monday Cottage at Long Lake is an idyllic year-round lake house on Long Lake in Harrison Maine, just one hour from Portland. Entire home renovated and finished mid-July 2017. Home has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Exterior amenities include private dock, a mooring for your use, hammock, firepit, and large deck with gas grill. Interior amenities include wifi, flat screen smart TV, VCR/DVD player, Nintendo Wii, washer/dryer, ping pong, walk out basement, and air conditioning. All linens are also provided. House is located on a rural winding (paved) road with private driveway so be sure to bring the kid's bikes! In the summer, enjoy all that Long Lake has to offer, such as boating, kayaking, swimming and fishing from the dock, restaurants in Naples, ice cream in Harrison, etc. Take a day trip on the boat to Brandy Pond and Sebago Lake via the Songo Locks! The lake house is a perfect home base for leaf peeping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire during the fall. The White Mountains, outlets, Story Land and Santa's Village in tax-free North Conway, NH are only a 30-minute drive away. Please review House Rules prior to booking. The following House Rules are strictly enforced. If these rules are violated, you will be asked to leave the property immediately with no monies refunded. - NO SMOKING - 6 PERSON MAX (no more than 6 registered guests - including children - using the property. This includes day guests) - NO PET POLICY Also, Guests acknowledge that they have knowledge of the external video cameras in place on the driveway and below the deck facing the lake. These cameras will be in use during this rental period and the guests hereby consent to the use of the same.

Beautiful, attractive home with all of the amenities we needed for a relaxing and fun time together as a family. Living room and deck have a great view of the lake and kitchen is roomy and had everything we needed. Our favorite part was fantastic lake swimming!

Cape Monday Cottage is a little slice of heaven! The owners are organized and helpful, providing quick responses to questions before the trip, and then having an awesome binder to answer all other questions waiting for us when we arrived. They seem to have thought of everything one could need! The house itself is spacious, beautifully updated, clean and neat. Which was lucky since we hit a few rainy days and still had a great time indoors - between their ping pong table and many games and activities. What a treat!

A wonderful house in a beautiful spot! We stay at a lot of VRBO's and this was one of the most well-equipped and comfortable homes we've stayed in. The house was incredibly clean with many thoughtful touches and the views were spectacular, The hosts were easy to communicate with and we look forward to returning next year.

This is a quiet, beautiful, and relaxing place to stay. Sarah and Chris are very thoughtful. Things like dish soap, laundry detergent, crock pot, spices, tinfoil, etc are all there. They have games for kids, a great selection of books to enjoy, ping pong, Pac-Man, and chairs for outside. My only disappointment was we only had one week…wish we had two! We can’t wait to return next year.

This is a lovely, cozy home right on Long Lake, with a wonderful deck overlooking the lake and a nice waterfront replete with dock, firepit and hammock. The house was stocked with everything my wife and I needed. The owner, Sarah, was very responsive to any questions we had, which were few since the written instructions regarding the house were very thorough. Overall, a great place to spend a week!

Nearby restaurants and grocery store for anything you may need. We rented some kayaks and they delivered them to the house which was really nice, ventured into Portland and also Naples. Having the AC was a definite perk as there were a few warm days that we were happy to have it. One note- the beds in this rental are probably the most comfortable we have every experienced with a VRBO--- all of us enjoyed a most peaceful sleep. Hope to be able to return next summer, this property is truly amazing!

Everything you need is included inside and outside the house for a lake vacation. Beds were very comfortable which is rare at rentals so that was a bonus! The location was amazing and the finished basement for the rainy days was perfect to have. We rented a boat at Gateway Marina and Jerry was awesome to work with. We’ll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed this well appointed home. Six of us were very comfortable both inside and out on the large private deck. One of the best locations on the lake. The AC was a much needed amenity as we has some of the hottest weather of the summer. We hope to return every year.

Simply put, this was one of the best vacation homes our family has ever rented.The house itself was immaculate and comfortable, with all the amenities our family of 4 could want/need. Comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, and clean bathrooms with great water pressure. Plus the view of the lake was spectacular. We were there during the Draconid meteor shower and had a few great sightings.Sarah was a wonderful host. She was very responsive to questions and provided excellent information and recommendations.

We all very much enjoyed our stay at at this beautiful house. House was very clean and host ( Sarah) was quick to respond to all questions. Plenty of games and movies to enjoy. Great Lake for swimming and boating.

There is clear pride in ownership of this property. From the moment we walked through the front door we knew we had picked the right place. The views were are absolutely fantastic and the location of the property is ideal for boating and relaxing. Our teenage daughters really enjoyed swimming and tubing off of the dock and the floating dock during the week. Ping pong table/game room was a big plus. This property has all amenities a vacation home needs, beach chairs, fire pit, floats, games, movies, as well as any kitchen accessories you would need. What was a last minute change in plans due to the pandemic has become what my family hopes to be an annual trip to this home on long lake!! You will be thrilled if you choose to rent this home.
