Located in Timber Lakes, this attractive cabin for $352 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Cabin Retreat is a beautiful vacation cabin with year round access, nestled in the mountains of Heber City, Utah, only 45 minutes from Park City and the Sundance Film Festival. The cabin is situated within 40 minutes of Robert Redford's Sundance ski resort. Drive 26 minutes to Midway (Swiss Days) and Soldier Hollow where you can enjoy cross country skiing/sledding in the winter & golfing in the summer. Skiing, snow boarding, ice fishing and much more are only minutes away. In summertime enjoy many planned summer activities, water skiing, cool air, hiking, wildlife watching, mountain biking, great fishing in nearby lakes and streams (out of the development). Provo river is some of the best fishing in the nation. *Due to new rules & regulations from the development, the owner NO LONGER allows bringing or riding ATV'S/OHV'S/Snowmobiles & Trailers from or at the cabin. The cabin was wonderful with lots of space for our group. My only complaint was the bed in the "master" bedroom off the kitchen was very uncomfortable. Also, the stripping and making up the beds after use is not something you normally want to do on vacation. Other than that we had a great time. Great location.

My grandsons from age 5-8 were expecting a small cabin in the woods. When they came inside the cabin, they ran from room to room shouting THIS CABIN IS HUGE, we love it. Our family had a wonderful weekend that will be remembered.

My husband found this cabin on vrbo and we really enjoyed our stay here. We saw wildlife and enjoyed the spacious atmosphere throughout the cabin. We had lots of room to spread out and get comfy. The kids LOVED the ping pong /pool table. The one negative (the only thing and why I gave 4 stars) to us was having all of the cleaning requirements at check out. I mean, I totally get taking out the trash and leaving the place the way you found it but having us strip the sheets and remake all the beds and then empty the dishwasher after putting the last load in was a bit crazy considering we paid $$$ (not allowed to put the amt) for the cleaning fee. We are clean people and have no problem cleaning up after ourselves but that's a steep cleaning fee. The window sills and blinds were really dusty and definitely needed a good cleaning. Overall, we all had a great time and made some wonderful memories. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

The wildlife watching was fantastic. Animals from the deck - we didn't have to travel to see multiple deer and moose. That cabin itself could use a bit of updating. The carpet and mattresses appear to be original to the cabin, and could certainly use a re-fresh. But the peace and solitude were worth it!

Christmas Break Round 2
We came back for a 2nd time to stay the second half of our Christmas Break. We again had a blast playing games and sledding. We loved 3 floors to spread out, but also to have places to gather. Grateful for a well stocked kitchen with every pot and plate we needed. Hosts were easy to communicate with and everything was clean. A great place to “get away” from Salt Lake. Thanks again. We will be back!

Birthday Weekend
Beautiful property, near multiple recreation areas. Our family had a great time celebrating our grandson’s birthday hiking, fishing and enjoyed water activities at Deer Creek Reservoir. The kids loved watching the wildlife near and around the cabin.

A Fun Family getaway to the mountains
This is a very beautiful cabin that is located in a great location up in the mountains by Heber city, UT. It was great to get a way to cooler weather. There were very comfortable beds and it is very clean and organized. We had 15 people and everyone had plenty of room and it was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Had a great little getaway. Cabin was a perfect place for us to recharge and reconnect as a family. Location made it so we could easily get back in the groove of life and a restful and relaxing weekend.

We have 3 married children and one grand child. Was wonderful to stay in the spacious cabin!
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin had the perfect number of rooms and beds and was very clean. We enjoyed the time with our family and it was perfect for what we needed! It made staying through the 4th of July holiday very memorable. We will definitely keep this in mind for future vacations!

Cabin was wonderful, but we had to clean up and make up beds before leaving. Since we only had breakfast and slept at the cabin, it wasn't too much for us, just didn't except the cleaning since I paid $225 as a cleaning fee. I hope the owner would disclose this at first glace to his cabin.

We loved all the snow and fun sledding close by. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a few things we had forgotten! We enjoyed having 3 floors to spread out. The kitchen table was perfect for playing games with the lazy Susan in the middle. Plenty of space to eat and prep food.
The hosts were very helpful with any questions we had. We did use wood burning stove for that cabin feel, and also enjoyed the gas fireplace upstairs too. The Christmas tree was an added bonus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It is the perfect location. Close enough to civilization, but a fun break away from town.

It was decorated for the holidays and we just loved it. It was within 30 minutes of Deer Valley and 45 minutes of Park City, travel times could be longer during peak travel. The cabin is a beautiful place to stay. We stayed over Thanksgiving and everything was beautiful. The Christmas tree was a fun touch that we were lucky enough to enjoy. Would highly recommend the cabin for a rental!!!
