This is a very nice property. It is attractive and comfortable. Its a little tricky to find but Kathoryn gives good directions.

Everything as advertised. Perfect for a couple. Quiet and relaxing, great natural light. Lovely setting and great if you like to view the trees. Away from the city but everything reasonably available. Katheryn was charming and friendly when she welcomed us, and left us alone to enjoy her beautiful home. Everything top quality. Would definitely do it again when in Austin. I could live there.

It's surprising to find such quiet isolation so close to Austin. We watched a doe graze with her fawn, unhurried, on the front lawn, with no one anywhere near but the two of us (guests) and maybe Katheryn (host) in her house next door. Swimming in the shaded pool under the sonorous wind chimes was so relaxing and pleasant. Most of our interaction with Katheryn was by text, ahead of our visit, so it was a pleasure to finally meet her (and her very friendly dog) after we arrived. A wonderful experience all around.

Very nice location removed from the city. Really enjoyed our stay and location was perfect for us to visit a couple of distant family members we don't get to see very often. Only item I would note is there is no stove top, and the location is fairly remote from restaurants. Made do with the microwave and all was ok. Would definitely stay again.

Extremely comfortable for 2 seniors traveling. Kitchenette area allowed us to have light breakfast, morning coffee, snacks etc. living area provided ample room to relax on evening. Bed and bedding very comfortable. Wildlife entertained us every morning!! Countrylike setting was stunning….with creek down a steep embankment. but probably not a location for younger children. I would definitely rebook into this property.

Wonderful experience from the secluded drive to the cottage, the deer and privacy. Wall of windows brought the outside indoors. This was convenient to our planned activities in Wimberly. For our short stay plenary of amenities and supplies. Host was responsive to any inquiry. Enjoyed our stay.

Great place for couple, bedroom to close to main bed in living area. Day bed could use a real mattress. Originally my daughter was going to stay with me but not enough privacy had to rent hotel room. But if you go as a couple great place.

This cottage is a perfect, private gateway close to Austin but secluded enough to unwind and relax. We loved staying at this house. The host was wonderful and very helpful and available for questions. This is one of the few places where the house looked exactly like the pictures! No weird angles to make the reality different from the posting online.

We so enjoyed staying at the cottage for our nephew's wedding. Katheryn is a marvelous host. The cottage is cutely decorated. The landscaping and outside are the best. Set in between a creek and a hill. You will enjoy the deer grazing and drinking from the creek.

The listing referenced a private chef & a chauffeur under amenities, at a cost I assumed, neither of which was offered & there was no range or oven. The place was very nice though. Very comfortable.

This was a beautiful cottage in a wooded area. Kat was friendly and check in and out was easy. It felt remote yet was close to our activities in Austin. The patio and pool area is a wonderful retreat during a hot summer day! It was a peaceful place for our anniversary get-away.

Me, my husband, and a family member stayed here for a little working vacation over 5 days. The property was perfect for three adults. The cottage was cozy but had plenty of space for the three of us, and the pool and outdoor deck area made our stay absolutely perfect. We enjoyed working on our laptops outside in the morning and lounging in the pool in the afternoons. Katheryn was a perfect host who was available when we needed her but let us go about our business otherwise. We would absolutely love to stay here again next time we are in Austin.

Our stay at this architectural Italian cottage was so enjoyable! A feeling of quiet nature all around us while at the same time easy access to major roads to several museums and take in a bat tour. Kathryn was an excellent host as was her friendly dog Shotzy. We would definitely stay here again!! And recommend to friends. Thank you for hosting us, Kathryn.

What an utterly delightful spot! We wanted to relax and chill and this place filled the bill. You would not believe that it is just about 20 min to the heart of Austin. Decor was lovely and the bed very comfy. The owner is friendly and so on top of anything you need. We will definitely be back! Cathy C

My husband and I stayed for a quick little getaway. We had a wonderful time. The only thing I would say, the pool is not heated and there is a lot of tree cover....it was cold in May. But the host is delightful!! Would highly recommend.

There is actually no bedroom in this cottage. There is a queen bed in one end of the living room. There is another make shift “bed” in a study, next to the main bed, which has only a glass door. There is also strong smell of, perhaps mold, especially in the beginning, could be because it had been not lived in for some time, it could be actual mold in its duct system. Otherwise, the area is quite, woody and nice, only a short drive from the city.

My wife and I stayed a weekend here for our anniversary. Had a great time and felt like we had our own little cottage away from any noises or people. Only 25 minutes to downtown. Everything was provided from a TV with streaming services to coffee, fridge/freezer, and a deck/pool to relax around. Finding the location can be tricky, highly advise arriving in the day time and driving slowly while looking for the house numbers to find your way in. Thanks for hosting us, hope to come again soon!

This place is beautiful, inside and out. We just loved it here. It was great meeting Kathryn. She is the perfect hostess. And we fell in love with Shotsy…… her Labrador retriever! The lighting inside the guest house is very special! We have never seen such creative lighting before. It’s inspiring! Highly recommend staying down this winding road to the country. Very pretty and quiet here.
