Located in Lake Sunapee, this charming house for $246 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Charming comfortable Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, Sleeps 6 Rental is a three bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bathroom At Lake Sunapee, with views of the lake and dock and lake frontage (shared with 1 cottage)there is one cottage in-between ours and direct lake access. Our cottage is not Lake Front. The bedrooms have one queen bed, one double bed and two single beds, which should sleep 6 comfortably. It has a large kitchen with breakfast nook, grill, separate dining room and living area. Wifi, cable TV and landline are available. Cottage also has large wrap around porch, sunroom and woodstove. Your perfect summer getaway for the whole family. Our dock and lake frontage is perfect for relaxation and swimming! WE DO NOT HAVE A BOAT DOCK OR KAYAKS for liability and insurance reasons. You are welcome to bring your own kayak or rent a boat. There is a boat ramp straight ahead at the entrance in Blodgets Landing that you could launch for the day and store on trailer at night just can't tie up to our dock. The surrounding area includes hiking trails, boat rentals and the town of New London for shopping. NEW full size washer/dryer. Please inquire for late May,June, July, August, September, early October Only. This cottage is not for rental during the winter months. Thank you

The property was nice. House was old style. You can tell improvements had been done. Shower was a little small. It would have been nice to know you could not see the view of the dock from the house. We still enjoyed our stay. Neighbors were never an issue. Everyone was quite and kept to themselves. No issues with location. Stores very close. The only thing bad about our stay was the weather. Thank you to the host for posting and allowing my family to stay.

The cottage was just as described and pictured. The owners provided everything as promised in the listing and we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the little dock and lake access with a spectacular sunset view. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had a fan to keep the rooms cool at night. We will definitely keep the cottage in mind if we visit the area again and we’ll tell our friends about the positive experience.

My and my sister’s families stayed at this house and had a wonderful time. The house is lovely and exactly as advertised. We had a lot of fun swimming in the beautiful lake and fishing. Check in and check out were easy and the hosts communicated well. And the neighborhood felt very safe and clean with plenty of privacy while not feeling in any way isolated. All-in-all a great stay, and I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing lake vacation.

Our rental was tidy and had plenty of extras. The dock is shared and small but there is also a town dock within walking distance that has a small patch of sand and a couple of benches.. u can bring your chair and chill & swim from the dock. There is no grass on the property so if you bring your dog and they arent used to doing their business on gravel as mine arent (spoiled brats) There is no AC, so bring some window fans~ that helped us in the humid week we had. I loved the antique furniture ~ matching edith & archie bunker rockers. You cansee the lake from the dining room table and season room. The neighborhood is nice and great for walking. Everyone was nice and my early am walks along the lake were peaceful & beautiful.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Grey Gables. Everything was clean and the appliances looked to be new. The location was right on the lake and we loved walking around and going down to the dock. We were there during a heatwave and there is no AC, so that was very hot. There were lots of fans provided at the house, which made a big difference. If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful vacation I would highly recommend Grey Gables!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gray Gables. There are so many great things to say. Towels and linens were plentiful, the rental clean, warm, rustic, and charming. The outdoor grill worked perfectly. Plenty of parking and the outdoor porches were spacious. Plenty of room inside for entertaining day visitors. All new appliances worked perfectly and the fridge kept refreshments ice-cold! We appreciated the long family history of this rental and thought of all the wonderful memories it gave so many and were able to make many of our own. The great water pressure in the shower was a huge bonus! Big thanks to Becca for quick and precise communication and thank you for allowing us to share your wishes lace on the lake. Wonderful cabin. So clean. Old fashioned place like we like. Would rent again. Having the W and D very helpful. Short 1 house away walk to the lake. Not good if one has mobility issues. I could not climb stairs so had to sleep on sofa…and sofa kind of short. Only 1 shower but downstairs. Would have been nice to have workable bikes to use. We borrowed a pak n play for baby from nearby hotel. Otherwise loved our stay.

We enjoyed the cottage and loved the dock, the ladder to get to the water and just found it to be the perfect getaway. Yes, the cottage is old and the beds are not fantastic but it was worth it. We enjoyed the location SO much.

This cottage is very musty and much of the furniture was unusable. The bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned well, but the rest of the house needs a complete overhaul. We spent most of our time outside and departed three days early. We were refunded for those days. In fairness, the dock and lake were nice.

We had a great time at Grey Gables! We particularly enjoyed relaxing at the dock all times of day. Mosquitos were out this time of year, but not bad. The shower is a little tight for taller individuals, but okay to maneuver. Communication with property manager was great and easy! She is extremely responsive and very considerate.

This was such an amazing lake cottage! Great views from the dock. The porch was perfect for relaxing in the evenings after spending time all day on the lake. Very clean and super easy check-in and check-out. Highly recommend.

Great location, very comfortable and clean. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate our Family had a great time relaxing and playing games. Beds where comfortable, the bedding was a little out dated and it was a little hard to figure out what went where, minor details...great time was had by all, thank you for sharing your home!

With the age of the cottage it is very clean and we'll taken care of. It is 1 cottage up from the lake. It is only a 30 second walk to the dock. We were there most of everyday. There was a beautiful sunset every night. The tough part (we made a game out of it) was finding the switches to the lights in the cottage. It was quiet (a few dogs and people talking walking by) and peaceful. We will most definitely be back!
