About this condo rental
8th Floor, Annapolis House, newly renovated January 2016, spacious oceanfront living with wonderful view From your large Annapolis House balcony, enjoy the broad expanse of beach and ocean, and the view toward the town of Bethany Beach. Of the two spacious bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed, while the second bedroom contains two queen size beds. For extra guests, there is a sleep sofa. The Annapolis House is just a few steps to the pool and the beach and a 5-10 minute stroll into town. Rent from Sunday to Sunday during the summer. Not only to we take pride in the comfort and cleanliness of our condo, but also the number of repeat guests that come back again. Enjoy TV or a recent movie on the high-definition television Free internet access, both ethernet and wifi, is provided. Linens and bath towels are included. All guests at Sea Colony are required to pay a recreation fee of $15 to $50 (depending on the time of year) per person over 3 years of age. This fee is a weekly fee and is paid at check-in. Please contact the Recreational Association at (302) 541-5988 if you would like additional information about the fee. Please be aware that we do rent from Sunday to Sunday during the Summer months.. Spacious 2 br condo with a great ocean view. Plenty of space for the two of us, but I think if you tried to max it out to 8 people you had all better be really close, though.

Overall we were well satisfied with our stay. Based on previous reviews, I didn’t have real high expectations. The location is great and Sea Colony is definitely a top 10 resort. As other reviewers noted, the living room furniture is worn and leans towards the dirty side. The mattresses aren’t great either but we’ve had worse. Amenities were as noted in the listing. Not a whole lot extra of anything. There was an odd smell in the small bedroom. Musty, almost like a wet diaper.

Great location and overall nice condo. I highly recommend Sea Colony. The biggest problem is just about all the furniture needs replaced. Couches were extremely worn and most of the fabrics off all the furniture was very stained. The queen beds and dresser are about ready to fall apart and made noise with the smallest movement. The matresses on those beds were also very worn out. I would love to stay here agan but only if improvements were made.

This is my 2nd consecutive year staying here and it was exactly how I remember it. Great location, stunning sunrise view that can't be beat. I've already made plans to come again in 2024!!
The beds aren't the most comfortable but it's priced right.
Ed, the owner, was very responsive when I had to contact him regarding the washer. He had a repairman by the same day.

The rental is in the most northerly building of the Sea Colony beachside buildings. That was nice because there was no tall building on the north side. The rental has front and center views of the beach and water and access to all the Sea Colony amenities. We enjoyed being above all the busyness of Bethany Beach. It’s a great rental. The listing said no paper products which includes TP! There also was no hair dryer or laundry soap. Bring everything you need!

Everything about this property was as advertised. Balcony that overlooked the beach and some beach homes. Had an issue with the washing machine which we reported to the managers. Unit was very clean. Would consider staying there again.
The only negative was the parking garage. Difficulty figuring out the numbering system.

Very attractive property with a great location. Spectacular view out over the ocean.
One thing to be aware of is at check-in, you’ll need something from the owner that indicates the unit, since you are renting directly from the owner. Your reservation won’t be in Sea Colony’s reservation system.

Perfect uncrowded beach weather for mid-September. My husband and I wanted some beach time before summer was completely gone. This nice unit delivered! It’s very clean and comfortable. We’d go again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our long weekend at this great condo with incredible ocean views from the balcony and bedroom. We loved the convenience of walking into town and had a delicious seafood dinner at 99 Sea Level, and yummy lunch at Mangos. The apartment was extremely comfortable; the kitchen had everything we needed to fix breakfast each morning; we loved the easy access to the beach! We will definitely return!! Thanks Ed!!

We have been coming down here for years and have stayed in million dollars home nothing compares to this. It was heaven the first moment we walked in the door. Best vacation ever!

This was our second time renting in Sea Colony and we enjoyed our visit the same as last year. Condo is as described, was clean (with exceptions noted below) and the view from the balcony is amazing. Also a shorter walk to the boardwalk compared to other Sea Colony buildings and tennis courts are right across fro the elevator, we played almost every day of our stay.
For the rental price though, the condo could have been stocked better with sundries and the furniture needs an upgrade. There was not even a dish washing sponge provided, so we had to make a run to the CVS the very first evening to stock up which thankfully is close by. Also none of the indoor seating was acceptable, the sofa in the living room is super uncomfortable, both my wife and I got a backpain after 2 days. The accent chairs provided are dirty, need a through cleaning or need to be replaced - we refrained from using them. Finally the headboard on the king bed is loose/broken, we could literally hear it bang against the wall the entire night of our first stay anytime we tossed or turned. Next day wehung two hand towels on either end over the top edge between the board and the wall to solve the problem for the rest of our stay.

This was our first time in Bethany and in Sea Colony and it won’t be our last! The home is a great size, the views are gorgeous, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Pool and beach are literally steps from the elevator. You can walk to town and shuttle to other pools or locations in Sea Colony. Many evening activities like bingo, marshmallow roasting and movies on the beach great for kids and adults!

Beautiful View
There was plenty of room for a family of 4 and a fantastic view from near the top of the condo complex. You can tell it was updated in 2016 like is posted on the description, but that has been 6 years now, and it could use a coat of paint. I also think the cleaning crew could have done a better job. That is probably just being a little picky, I would stay here again,

Perfect vacation!
First time to Bethany and our stay could not have been better. I took my 17yr old daughter and a friend. Location and property space itself were excellent. Great location, view and with in walking distance to boardwalk. Condo clean and well appointed. Will stay here again!!

Swimming and 25.00 pass per person
We had to walk to building E from building A to go swimming and then it was closed Monday and so we used it Sunday and we paid 25.00 per person to use the pool and this information wasn’t told to us at booking of the condo and we could use the Facilities ten blocks away that we had to drive to in order to go swimming was beautiful place and we would love to come back but to found out about the pass at the last minute and no pool at our building was a disappointment.

Sea Colony has alot to offer if you are interested in using the facilities. the view is stunning. how can you not love watching the sunrise over the ocean and hearing the waves crash all day long?!? no issues. good communication with owner.

The unit was perfect! Clean and comfortable with everything you’d need. The view is great and it is in a great location for visiting northern beaches down to OCMD. Owner was very responsive.

Still managed to enjoy the beach snd get the r&r we needed.

This condo is everything you could want. The views are breathtaking! The location is convenient to so much in the area! The property is beautiful and well maintained! The beach is clean and getting an umbrella and beach chairs was a simple task. The kitchen is well stocked with every pan/utensil you will ever need. The place is spotless and the beds so comfy! I can't say enough about 805 Annapolis House!! Love it and plan on booking again next year!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay! This 8th floor condo in the northernmost oceanfront building in Sea Colony has an unobstructed view of the beach from the balcony and master bedroom window. It faces northeast, allowing both full sunrise views in the mornings and welcome shade in the warm afternoons. Inside, the unit is spotless, bright, and comfortable, with everything we needed to feel at home. In fact, the photos don’t do the condo justice - we were pleased to find a 6-person dining room set and new family room entertainment center in addition to the renovated kitchen, two large bedrooms, and two full baths. Special kudos to Ed who is a terrific host and ensured that we enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy and the reserved covered parking spot was very convenient. All in all, this was the best place we have stayed at Bethany Beach in our 18 years of visiting this area. We hope to return to this condo next year!

The oceanfront view is spectacular! The apartment was very nice and the facilities at Sea Colony are great. Bethany Beach is a beautiful beach town. So glad we stayed here instead of Ocean City. Definitely looking forward to returning!
