About this house rental
Located in Bethany Beach, this attractive house for $510 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Our Booking Calendar is ALWAYS up-to-date. Luxurious and spacious vacation home in Bethany Beach! Great Room with cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace, dining room seats 22, wet bar with wine cooler, fully-equipped kitchen. The color scheme is inspired by beach glass and sand dunes. Screened porch, covered front porch and sun deck for your outdoor enjoyment - plus a gas grill and outdoor shower. Rental includes 2 beach parking passes that permit FREE parking on any residential street in Bethany Beach. Main level bedrooms are 1 King suite with whirlpool tub and separate shower, 1 Queen and twin with private bath access. Upstairs are 1 King with private bath, 2 Queens (one with an additional twin bed) with a shared bath, and a Bunk Room with 2 twin/double and 1 twin/twin bunk beds, also with a private bath (who wants to share with the kids?). There is driveway parking for 6+ cars. Located in quiet Turtle Walk, we are 10 blocks from the ocean. No Smoking, No Pets. RESERVE NOW. Find us on social media, too. Calendar is always up to date, please check before inquiring. We have a minimum rental age of 24 unless there is a parent chaperone who stays with you at the house for the duration of your stay. Lease and security deposit required, along with a copy of your driver's license. Beach Access: The beach is one mile from our house. Rental includes 2 Bethany Beach parking passes that permit FREE and UNLIMITED parking on any residential street in Bethany Beach, including the blocks by the beach. The permit is not valid at parking meters. Additionally, the town provides a free beach shuttle trolley that runs through our neighborhood 2 times per hour during the Summer season. Just flag it down in front of the house. Another alternative is biking. Bring your own or rent one (2 locations in town, one within walking distance of the house). The main road between our house and the beach has a bike lane and, of course, the terrain is flat. It is an easy walk for adults, not so much for very young children. My 5 year-old niece biked to the beach with no problem. Pool and Tennis: Tennis is located @ 1 mile away in Ocean View. There is a water park in Fenwick Island called Thunder Lagoon (5 miles south) that has a lazy river, kiddie pool, and water slides. There are no public pools in Bethany Beach. Rehoboth Beach (12 miles north) also has a water park. Our Community - Turtle Walk: Turtle Walk is a quiet residential community of custom homes with many year-round residents. All parking is off-street. There is no through traffic making our streets perfect for a leisurely stroll, bike, jog, etc. There are 2 fitness clubs, golf, and tennis nearby. Fenwick Island, Ocean City and Rehoboth Beach have water parks. The town has a boardwalk, community center, frequent free concerts at the bandstand, volleyball courts, great shops and restaurants, plus a miniature golf course.

Nice roomy space for me and 5 siblings. First floor queen bath shower was dirty, moldy. The inventory listings on the back of bedroom doors were missing or incomplete. The location was great for our purposes and we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend together.

As described, Hawksbill House was roomy & comfortable for all 13 of us, ages 3-72! The peaceful neighborhood was a welcome reprieve whether after days on the beach or shopping, and

I went with my husband and our two kids ages 3 and 10 months along with our friends, which included four other families. The place was very clean, fit our group so well, and it took just a few minutes to drive to the Bethany Beach! We would be happy to come back again!

I was impressed with the size of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Also, there are two big dining tables, a smaller one that expands, and a breakfast bar. Plenty of seating, dishes, glassware, and utensils for feeding a large group. Lots of storage in the kitchen for food.

A very lovely house. Unfortunately from day one there was an infestation of ants. They were in the couches, beds, dishwasher. They crawled on us. We had to throw out food. Contacted owner. On the 2nd day there. She got back to us promptly, said pest company would come and spray on Tuesday, they came on Wednesday. Sprayed the outside, a few baseboards in the kitchen area and that is it. No bathrooms or bedrooms. Friday we decided to leave instead of Saturday. Let owner know on Thursday and stated we rather work on Saturday and we can’t stand the ants, and we want some money back. She came on Friday without telling us, to check things out. She accused us of attracting the ants. She stated closed bags of bread, cereal boxes and dishes in sink, and 2 crumbs on the couch caused them.
Everyday living does not cause ants.

We loved our stay here! Cindy was extremely responsive to all of my questions prior to our arrival, and while there, we didn’t need a single thing during our stay. Everything was as listed, the house was clean, and it was functional for a larger group. The “Bunk Room” was perfect for the teenage boys in our party. They had their own space to hang out each evening, so they had some privacy and space that worked very well for everyone, lol. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of storage for a week’s worth of food and beach snacks.
The flow of the house is very functional, and when we weren’t at the beach we were in the back yard hanging on the deck or playing lawn games. Be aware that this is a residential neighborhood. It seemed to us that most folks in the area lived there, so it was quiet. The neighbor to the immediate right was wonderful! They were very friendly and helpful.
Once you figure out where to park for the beach, it’s a breeze (we used the Maplewood lot and/or on-street parking on that street every day. There was plenty of space to park). We found it helpful to go down and scout out parking the first day we arrived.
The boys took the trolley quite often, it seemed to run on schedule and often enough that getting folks to and from the beach in “shifts” was not a problem.
We didn’t have any small children in our group though, so there was no need to accompany anyone anywhere. I’m not sure how it would be to take the trolley with smaller kids and/or beach toys.
Overall we loved our stay!

We loved staying at the Hawksbill property in June 2022. Our extended family found the layout of the house good and the drive to the beach was so easy - maybe 5 minutes. The included parking passes were also really nice. When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned due to a scheduling mix-up. The owner responded immediately and not only got the cleaning scheduled ASAP, but remained in close contact to ensure that everything was completed properly. We'll be booking this property again in the future!

Guys golf trip
The house was pretty much as billed. Located in a family orientated residential community, it is in close proximity to most everything Bethany Beach has to offer.
It was clean and there were some kitchen supplies there which was greatly appreciated.
Most if not all the mattresses were in very good to excellent condition. Bathrooms were clean but a little dated. No rust or cracking, just a little dated.
Response time to any questions beforehand was outstanding.
I highly recommend this house for a large group or multiple families.

We stayed at this property with the group of friends/family with teens on October 2-5. The property is spacious, has everything you might need during your stay and close to the beach/restaurants (1.5 miles) yet quiet and pleasant neighborhood. Screened porch is great to eat outside without bugs. Fireplace is cosy in the living room. The owners are nice people with whom it was really easy to communicate. They respond within minutes that was really appreciated. The property however could use some appliances update in the kitchen. Overall we had a pleasant weekend together.
