- RENOVATED In 2018, NEW SUNROOM ADDED WITH VAULTED CEILING AND PANORAMIC WATER VIEWS - YOUR OWN FAMILY-FRIENDLY BEACH SHARED WITH ONLY 4 OTHER COTTAGES - 2 BDRM + DEN WITH BUNK BEDS (ALSO A PULL OUT COUCH AND COUCH THAT CONVERTS TO A DOUBLE BED IN SUNROOM) - ASK ABOUT OUR COTTAGE NEXT DOOR IF YOU NEED EXTRA SPACE. 1BDRM + 2 FUTONS. - 10 MINUTES TO SUMMERSIDE, 35 MINUTES TO CAVENDISH AND SOME OF THE BEST GOLFING PEI HAS TO OFFER - 5 MINUTES FROM CONFEDERATION TRAIL - FREE WIFI, SMART TV, BBQ - 2 KAYAKS AND LIFE JACKETS AVAILABLE - TAKE THE KIDS DOWN TO THE BEACH AND SOAK UP THE SUN WHILE THEY PLAY FOR HOURS ON THE SAND BARS, SEE THE CONFEDERATION BRIDGE ON THE HORIZON - LARGE POT SUPPLIED FOR A GOOD OLD PEI LOBSTER BOIL **normally a minimum 7 night booking July and August, Saturday to Saturday**. Check-in after 3:00pm, check-out before 10:00am.

This is the perfect spot for a beautiful PEI experience. Two adults and four children ages 7-10 had more than enough space and everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation on the island. The cottage is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities. The host, Evan made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The location of the cottage is supreme, steps to the ocean and the most fantastic views! We hope to return next summer!

The cottage had everything & more that was needed for our 11 night stay. Very clean and spacious for the 4 of us. Evan the host was extremely helpful and was quick to respond to our questions. The view of the ocean was a bonus as well as all the outdoor living space and amenities. One day we hosted a family gathering, (approximately 20 people), to help celebrate my father's 101 birthday. Couldn't have choosen a more welcoming and beautiful spot. Looking forward to a possible stay, again next summer ! Thank you Evan and Andrea.

We had a great time here. The cottage had all the amenities we needed and was comfortable for 4 of us. Private yard and beach were great.

Family get-away
When you pull in the driveway you have this beautiful view of the water and a well-groomed property. As you walk in the cottage there is a warm and welcoming feel. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we ever go to PEI again.

Perfect family time
The cottage worked perfect for us. Lots of games for all ages.
We made great memories. The only complaint would be the mosquitoes which were around during the day as well as at night.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Evan and Andrea’s place here in Miscouche. The house had everything my family needed everything you could ask for. It was truly your home away from home not to mention your own private beach the kids could swim in. My family and can’t wait to come back!!!

We had a lovely time with my parents and my 10 year old daughter in Evan 's lovely cottage. It is well furnished with really everything you need inside as well as outside to go have fun in the sea. Which is literally 2 seconds away. It is very warm and tons of fun for kids. The veranda is a wonderful addition and we had lots of relaxing evenings in it. The beds and pillows and bedding are really comfortable. We came back truly refreshed and relaxed! We would recommend to everyone and surely return next year! The owner is very responsive even calling to see if we could have a pizza delivered to our cottage! 🍕

Awesome week in PEI
Perfect location we really enjoyed this cottage. Very well stocked with very comfortable beds. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful private beach just a few steps away. Would definitely recommend this place! Thanks again!

Very clean, private quiet getaway
The place was amazing. There were 4 adults, 3 kids under the age of 8 and a new born. We all fit fine. The beach was perfect.

We loved the sun porch: excellent place to pick up a book and read. The location was ideal to get to the locations we wanted to go
The Bathroom and Shower could have been a little bigger. The water being a bit yellow was bit concerning.
When we had a problem with the TV, you acted quickly and in time the issue was resolved. It would be handy to have instructions on how to use the TV and the satellite.
Overall, we were happy with the cottage.

Amazingly private beach
We really enjoyed this property. The cottage is one of only six dwellings on a very private, sandy beach that stretches for miles and miles. Very warm water and lots to explore. The owners have clearly put in effort to make this little cottage a home away from home with many thoughtful touches, even though it is older and, well, a cottage! They had tons of beach toys much to the kids delight, and many games as well. Evan, the owner, is very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend! Early July can be a bit buggy especially near the tree line, but on the front deck and at the beach it was fine at most times of day.

Retirement vacion
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. There was a great view of the water, we enjoyed viewing the tide coming in and out and also performing beach combing and shell collecting. The owner was very helpful in answering all of our questions. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend this facility to anyone wanting to visit PEI. Central location was great base for visiting all areas of the island.

This is a spectacular location and ocean view...wonderful sunsets, you can walk far out when the tide is out...lots of sea birds....so quiet and peaceful and private too.
The cottage is perfect for a family....lots of cooking utensils, super clean, well cared for and comfortable.

The rooms are large and the TV reception great, as is the wifi connection.

Excellent cabin on the water with everything you need!
My husband and my two girls aged 2&3 stayed at Evan's cabin for a week. We were immediately at home and happy with our choice! Everything we needed except food was there for us and only a short walk to the beach, warm water and wonderful views!

Cozy and comfortable, a great place for a quiet getaway
We spent a week at the Hickey Hideaway, Wednesday-to-Wednesday in late June. If you're looking for flashy and fancy, this isn't it. It's small, but for 2-5 people, it's plenty, and it's quite clean and comfortable inside. The bed we used sleeps tremendously well. It maintained the not-quite-warm late June temps well through the night. The view of Northumberland Strait from the front porch is fantastic. The area is quiet, even with children in the nearby houses. The owner is helpful and quick to return answers for inquiries. The only negative marks: 1) The water smells a bit funny, but that would be the area rather than the house. 2) Bring good bug repellent. Otherwise, that time of year, the mosquitoes will eat you alive. 4 of 5 not for being the greatest place around, but for almost completely fulfilling its promise of a simple, quiet getaway. Highly recommended.
