The Neighborhood Punta Blanca is a private and secret oasis that not many people know about. Nestled between the Majestic Hotel, RIU Hotels, and Bahia Principe, we boast a world class 18th hole golf course designed by Nike Price. In fact, if you have stayed at any of these hotels and played golf, you've been to Punta Blanca. We also have private beach access, and have our own Beach Club complete with swimming pool, kayaks, and a restaurant. You will pay upwards of $1000 per week per person to enjoy the same beach that we do. And instead of dodging crazy drivers, potholes, or out of control mototaxi's, you'll get to enjoy palm trees, lakes, egrets, and more. And talk about peaceful… the only noises you'll hear here, are from wild parrots or other birds flying overhead. This truly is paradise! Getting Around Everything is within easy walking distance, and nothing is more than 1 km away. The Olympic Pool, Tennis Courts, Kids Playground, Basketball Courts, Paddle Court, and Gym are all within a 15/20 minute walk. The Private Beach Club with Restaurant, Swimming pool, and Kayaks are also about a 15/20 minute walk. The Pro Shop, House Club, and 19th Hole Restaurant are about 200 meters away. If walking to these places is a little bit more than you had planned during your vacation, I can always rent you a golf cart for an additional fee. Just ask and I'll make it happen. If you would to leave the complex and explore other areas including beaches, restaurants, shopping, or experience the local night life, a vehicle is highly suggested. If you are interested in renting a car, let me know and I can probably get you a better deal than you can get online. Other Things to Note The cost of electricity here is some of the highest in the world, so please be conservative. Included in the price is the first 300 kwh of electricity. After that, you will be charged at the going rate. To give you an example, in the USA and Canada electric rates hover around .10 to .12 cents per killowatt hour. Here, the cost is about .33 cents per kwh. The does not effect the majority of people who stay here. However, if you plan on running the air conditioners 24hrs per day, well, you have been warned. Your vacation rental includes maid service every other day. For an additional $75 per day, I can have a Professional Chef prepare and serve 2 meals a day for yourself and your guests. (You purchase the food, or we can go to supermarket before arrival and save receipts for you. Just let me know in advance so I can arrange that for you, if you so desire. After all, you're on vacation, who wants to cook or wash dishes right? If relaxing by the pool, or drinking a piña colada on the beach is not your thing, there is plenty of other things to do around here that will keep you busy. Just be aware, getting to most of these places require either a taxi or a car rental. * Extra charges apply ( You have 300KW included of electricity, after this guest will pay extra consumption) Please NOTE: The 5th bedroom has been updated for our guest to use. Can be use comfortably as a room or a service room. Queen bed + Full bathroom available. Is does not have AC.

No instructions when we checked in. Had to figure out internet/amenities on our own. However the host was very responsive through WhatsApp. Cost of cook was 2x what advertised. Most frustrating part of the experience was that we got moved to a different house than the original one because of “construction”.

Beautiful home with plenty of space but very loud music every night from nearby resorts and several missing or broken appliances and fixtures. Very firm beds. Maid came one morning at 7am. No good restaurants nearby but found several in Bavaro, about 25 minutes away. A car is a must-have. Also be prepared that no one speaks English anywhere except at resorts, and is still quite limited.

Overall Nice Property ... Great Location To Play Golf ... Centrally Located In The City
Overall Nice Property ... Great Location To Play Golf ... Centrally Located In The City
Overall very nice property, built within the last 10 years or so. Great location for golfers, located on the finishing hole for the golf course, steps away from the club house and practice tees. It is a nice property but definitely not 5 stars -- too many little things that need fixing. A solid 4 stars. The beach and some other amenities are technically "walkable" but they are a fair distance from the home. Would recommend a golf cart, can't imagine walking back to the house after a long day on the beach. Electricity and gasoline are very expensive on the Island. As you plan your trip, do the math on the rental car -- fuel is about $7 US per gallon. Most taxi trips are about $20 each way. Driving here can be a challenge and not for timid drivers. US $'s are taken everywhere -- bring plenty of tipping cash. AMEX was surprising taken everywhere we went as well. Dining out for a family of 4 at mid-scale restaurants average about $200 all-in. We spent about $350 on groceries for a 6 night stay so getting the cook (very, very nice person) is worthwhile and will save you money. Be sure to pay particular attention to the menu planning -- this must be done in advance. If you have preferences on food prep be sure to make them known -- for example: low sodium, vegetarian, food temperature, fried vs. baked. Island culture is to fry foods, thoroughly cook the food with copious amounts of salt. It tastes great but may not be what you want. If you go on excursions -- definitely do the catamaran. Skip the boogies -- horses back riding was fun! We worked with Felipe our entire time on the island. He was amazing -- took care of all the problems that we encountered. We saw him every day at least once. Our only real issue with our stay is air conditioning. There is no way to stay under the 300 kwh in a three night stay, never mind a 6 night stay. House design nor AC units are energy efficient. We were VERY conservative with our use of AC, cooled only 2 rooms and still went way over. Plan to pay $$$ unless you can address this prior to your stay. Of note, we are coming from a region of the world hotter than PC and this still had a huge impact on our stay. Other little bits of info, plan to drink bottled water -- house water is not filtered. Ask Felipe to bring you ice -- he will get you a 5lb bag. The home accommodates standard US electrical plugs. Beds are firm and comfortable. Enjoy your stay!

Great location for golfers and get the cooks!!
Great location for golfers and get the cooks!!
The rooms were decent but it was really a 4 BR. One of the bedrooms does not have AC. The house was freshly painted and the fumes were a bit much the first few days. Philippe and the cooking staff were excellent. The shower heads need to be replaced.

Group of 5 We had a great time in Punta Cana. The house is absolutely beautiful. Modern decor and from 2 ladies who were cooking and taking care of the house to the real estate agent we booked it through "Dahiana" They were all very kind and made sure we were enjoying our stay....we also had the cooking package and I have to say these ladies were on a mission they prepared all kind of Dominican food, dessert and cocktail and we were very impressed with their cooking skills...so delicious! I'd give the house a 9 and the staff a firm 10 they were really helpful You guys rock!!!
