Welcome to Engelhof Lodge located just thirty minutes north of Asheville NC. Step into a the perfect vacation rental that offers all the amenities and more to provide you with a comfortable, relaxing vacation. Inside, there are plenty of entertainment options to accommodate the whole family, with an elegant woood-burning fireplace settled under a mounted flat screen TV. Make sure to bring everyone downstairs to the game-room, where you'll find another large screen TV, a pool table and plenty of space for the entire group to play inside and out. There are two private decks. The main deck offers a large outside dining table to enjoy meals and play board games while you take in the cool mountain air and watch the sunset over the beautiful mountains. Enjoy the second space on the main level lounge area where you will find quality patio furniture and get cozy by the fir-pit while you embrace the Carolina Mountains right in front of you. The lower level is where you will find the the luxury hot tub, mountain view, along with a custom made bar with seating for your family to gather and make lasting memories. Property Details. -Master Bedroom: King size log bed with ensuite. Mountain view. Large flat screen TV. -Downstairs guest Queen bedroom: Beautiful furnishings, excellent mattress, Ensuite. View of the mountains. - 1st Upper level guest Queen Bedroom: Comfortable bedding. This bedroom is located on the upper and offers french doors that open to a private balcony. -2nd Upper level guest Queen Bedroom: Comfortable bedding, nice mattress and furnishings. We are not only a property management company but a Real Estate firm as well**** ****About our Cabins**** You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves. GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS! DOG fees are extra and NONREFUNDABLE The pet fee $100 is per pet per stay or $109.75 with taxes included. i.e. Any length stays with two dogs equals two pet fees plus taxes which is $219.50. Maximum of TWO dogs!! More than two dogs constitutes prior approval by the homeowner and Pristine Vacation Rentals. DOGS ONLY allowed! No cats, bunnies, birds, or any other animals allowed unless approved by homeowner and Pristine Vacation Rentals. The following essentials will be provided for you to START your stay. We do not provide essential for your entire stay. This is just to start you off: *Bed linens and towels *Paper Towels *Toilet Paper *Trash Bags *Dish Pods *Coffee Maker *Hand Soaps *Dish Soap *New Sponge *Small Laundry Detergent *Full Propane tank for gas grills Also feel free to use any of the spices, sugar, creamers etc… that are generally stocked in the fully equipped kitchen. This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts. PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains. CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies. SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired. FIRES: Guests are welcome to use the fire pit year-round. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart. It's generally around $5 per bundle. NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly. LONG TERM RENTALS: Please send an inquiry for details. Our family really enjoyed our week long stay here! The cabin is great with plenty of room to spread out or congregate for games or food. The beds are all comfortable, the hot tub is awesome with a great view, and the pool table is a great addition too.

Gorgeous, private mountain retreat. Location was awesome at the top of the mountain. Awesome views from the balconies. House was very clean and well maintained. Really private place. Loved our stay here and would rent this property again in the future.

Best cabin we ever stayed at - The decorator did an awesome job (How Beautiful) - Wi-Fi was perfect and always had cell service.
View is gorgeous - hot tub was great - Decks(Porches) were fantastic - Ping-Pong was a lot of fun!
Spacious Bedrooms and Bathrooms - Fantastic Kitchen (so well-equipped) - Great Living room (Very large TV)
Did not have any trouble with the road to Cabin -at least 8 cars were going up and down the Mountain every day -
as a matter of fact, we saw a UPS truck and Fed-Ex pass by the cabin and went further up the mountain!
Just can not say enough - We had a Wonderful Vacation at this Cabin - Way over 5 Stars!

Had a retreat out with the guys and had a blast! Plenty of entertainment at the property and not far (25min) from Asheville. Only thing I would improve in the listing is saying there is a grill…. We had to buy a grill anticipating there wasn’t one since it wasn’t seen in pictures or listed.

Portrayed accurately in the listing. The management company is wonderful to work with. My friends had a wonderful experience. Many beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls in the area to explore. Close to Asheville. This house is nestled in the mountainside with nice views and nature all around.

We enjoyed this house. It was very roomy and had a nice view of the mountain. The only negative is that is it 35 miles from Asheville where we went every day.

Hickung trails we a bit of atravel but not to bad. House was great. Pool table a plus. Nice dinning arrangement fot 7 to 8. Comfortable main deack seating. Propane Fire Pit a big plus.

Stayed for a long weekend. No issues or problems with the property. Very pretty and lovey house had a great time. Very responsive hosts can't complain.
Just FYI privet road leading to driveway is dirt/gravel. Scraped skid plate a few times coming and going. Driveway is in the middle of an incline, had to back down the hill and floor it up the hill into driveway, so not to get wheels caught in ruts in the road. It did rain the morning we came in but if you don't have 4 wheel drive you might have issue even complete dry. All 3 of our cars had issues.

Stayed for a family vacation with 2 teenagers. Beautiful views, and centrally located for our travels. House was very well appointed. Would be perfect for a bigger group. Slept our 4 with much room to spare. Managing staff very easy to communicate with. We were able to check in early with no issue. One very minor issue was immediately responded to by management. Would recommend!

Extremely easy booking, accurate description of home, stocked & well kept. The place was wonderful! Having a 3 yr old there worked out well but in hinds eye we definitely could use a baby gate for the stairs. My tushie got a much needed workout following behind him for his safety 😅 all worked out great and it's a lovely place with a great view!

If you are looking for a beautiful home up a mountain with a great view, this is the place. 3 floors all with balconies. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness and how well stocked the home is. This is our 5 th rental home and none can compare. The kitchen has about everything you need and some extras, to cook at home. We did not use the hot tub so i cannot speak to that but we enjoyed cooking on the grill and sitting on the balcony. The drive up is steep so you know. The driveway at the house is paved and wide.

The location of the cabin is beautiful, though up a steep mountainside. The house was very clean, well maintained and matched the pictures. Communication with the property manager was very easy. We enjoyed our stay!

We loved this cabin! It is perfect for a large group. The entire property was very clean and included all the essentials. If I had one negative thing to say it’s that they really need some new pots and pans. Besides that everything was lovely and we would definitely stay here again!

My family and I enjoyed our visit to Burnsville. The house accommodated our group well. The amenities and house layout were perfect. The property management team was extremely helpful to resolve an issue which was my fault.

An hour before the check-in time I received a call to inform me that they were doing a repair in the house, when I arrived everything seemed fine at first glance, we chose the house taking into account the bathrooms we needed and the entertainment areas, the bathroom shower The main bathroom was not working, we reported the damage and they were late with the arrival according to the time they told us the plumber would come, he could not solve the problem leaving the bathtub out of service, he said he would go the next day and never arrived, he arrived one day then outside the time that he had previously said after calling again to find out why they had not gone since nobody told us that he would not go the day before. then he informed that there were inflatable mattresses in the house and we received an email from the property manager which we answered and explained that there were young people who preferred to sleep without adults because they stayed up late talking, they asked if there were more guests than allowed which we invited to the The administrator came to the house so that they could see for themselves that we were the number of people established plus a duly registered dog, but the maintenance person kept insisting and even called by phone to ask the same thing that we had already answered via email. They were also invited to go to the house at any time so they could see how many people were in the house, the treatment they gave us was quite annoying. Pool table is useless as the sticks were broken. I would not rent this house again to spend vacations with my family. there are better options before you take that one again. quite disappointed with our stay in this house.

This is a fantastic home. We spent Christmas there with family and furbabies. The kitchen is well stocked and the living area was big enough to accommodate all of us and the pups. The hot tub was awesome - even in the extreme cold that we experienced! Property managers were also fantastic - our pipes froze early Christmas Eve morning and they had the plumber out and water running again by noon. We would definitely stay again!

Our family planned a "meet in the middle" location to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. This property was beautiful and spotless. Everything you need is here. We loved all the covered porches and kept the fireplace going. We loved the cabin so much that we never even left the premises. We look forward to returning!

We’ve stayed at this property for about three years now. We always enjoy our stay. I’d recommend better towels for the hot tub. Also, the outdoor wood on the property needs some attention, the stairs for example are starting to show some age. That said, the place and the company is amazing to work with during the stay. All this said we would return to this cabin.

Overall stay was great! The cabin is exactly how it is pictured! Cozy and inviting. I checked the reviews prior to arrival and brought toilet paper and batteries but did not need them. The comments about the road being steep and to proceed with caution are accurate. The hot tub had some dirt/sand in it from the previous guests but we still utilized it. My three suggestions are to (1) include the wifi network name on the house information and (2) inform guests that the wifi is powered by a white Google device upstairs and to encourage guests to not unplug it. We struggled with getting the wifi going but were assisted promptly upon arrival in getting it fixed. (3) correct the address for trash dump, the address provided for trash dump was not accurate and lead us to a river. We had to ask a local where to go and it was no where close to the address listed, took about 30 minutes of driving around to get this done.

We enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were beautiful. Didn’t have to take our own linens…even had the convenience of being able to do laundry before trip home. We had an issue with one bathroom and response was wonderful…worked around our schedule and came to resolve. Everyone we dealt with responsive and friendly. Be prepared for quite a few steps (especially if you have any elderly members with you). One other note to add…we had read reviews about steep driveway..what we found was the road leading to driveway was steep. If driving a car that sits low to ground (or heavily loaded) this may be an issue. Part way up the mountain to the driveway road changes from paved to gravel/dirt road. This is where problem may occur when turning into driveway. If you turn into driveway at top end of the asphalt this may make it easier for lower vehicles.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Location provides decent views from the porch and windows of the mountains. Everything you need to enjoy a stay was provided and the home was extremely clean. The semi-private road up can be a little hazardous but the driveway is large and pretty level once you get it.

I can't express enough how absolutely beautiful this house and the view was. My girlfriends and I wanted a cozy cabin in the woods for a low key bachelorette party and it did not disappoint. Between the hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table we had plenty to do simply sitting at the house. My only complaint was the restrictions on the garbage. You are allowed 2 bags and after that they charge you which I have NEVER encountered before. They also don't give you an address for any local places where we can get rid of extra garbage so being from out of state, it was a pain to have to figure that out. I felt like for the price of the house, it is was a little unfair for us to limit our garbage. But besides that our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed this house so much!

The Smith family had a such a wonderful time at this house!! It was clean, plenty of room, and an outdoor haven for our two dogs! The sweet downtown of Burnsville had such cute shops, and yummy places to eat. We also weren’t too far from Asheville. We definitely would rent again!!

Family vacation
This property had everything needed. The three boys ages 9,14,17 had fun shooting pool, playing pingpong and family game night with board games. This is close to blue ridge attractions. Great property in the mountains.
