About this house rental
This luxury, waterfront home is situated in an upscale community. The home faces West for excellent sunset views. The inlet is perfect for bird watching, fishing or watching dolphins swim by and offers fantastic opportunities for kayaking through the Eagle Point Park Wildlife Preserve. There are three kayaks and a stand up paddle board at the house for you to use. If you would like to rent a Pontoon boat, sailboat, john boat or deep sea fishing charters are a few blocks from home.
The house has 1 king, 1 queen sized beds for adults. It also has 2 bunk beds with trundles to hold 6 double sized mattresses for children. It also has 2 smart TVs with cable, kitchen island, private back yard with deck, WiFi, linens, Keurig coffee maker, barbecue grill, washer and dryer and hot tub.
Guests will get a code for the door prior to check in.

The home is amazing! It's in a beautiful neighborhood. It was very clean and comfortable. The amenities and extras are endless. There were bikes, kayaks, a hot tub, board games and more. The host was exceptionally responsive and accommodating. It was an all-around great experience.

We stayed at this property for a week while visiting relatives. On the positive side, the neighborhood is super cool and the location is great (close to a little park that you can kayak to). The layout of the house is really nice too.
Although updated in the past few years, the house was pretty dirty when we arrived (linens had not been laundered, floors were sandy / dusty, and the showers had not been cleaned - I removed someone else’s hair from the drain). We told the owner and he apologized but his response did not convince me that he was going to keep a closer eye on the property in the future. The washing machine is rusting around the top ring and damaged household linens that we washed. We ended up purchasing new pillows, floor mats, bath mats and cleaning supplies. I wiped out all the kitchen drawers too.
Near the end of our stay we experienced heavy rains and the bathroom ceiling / fan started leaking a steady stream of droplets (you could see a patch where it had been repaired before).
I think this property could be wonderful with a bit more attention, maintenance, repairs and some TLC. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be back.
