Approximately an hour drive from Cradle Mountain this intimate retreat is perfect for touring around Northern Tasmania, and making a base for your Tasmanian holiday adventure. Purely a couples retreat and located on the edge of a waterfall, and hugged by the natural bush you will feel at peace with the world. The outdoor heated spa with unfettered views of the waterfall is the perfect escape. Step aside from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature THE RETREAT One couples retreat offering a luxurious king size bed with electric blanket Well equipped kitchen with extensive breakfast provisions, microwave and pod coffee machine BBQ, wood fired pizza oven, outdoor open wood fire Toiletry range, hairdryer, large bath towels, spa towels Indoor wood fire and electric heating Hot tub on the deck – just you, the stars and the sound of the waterfall Bush walks, riverside picnic area TV and DVD player, DVD’s, books & iPod dock Snuggly robes and comfy lounge and extra cushions Seclusion, privacy and discretion always Falls River is nestled in 60 acres of Tasmanian bushland. Absolutely amazing, had everything you could want there. So nice and clean, beautiful private waterfall, spa and wood fire pizza oven. Super special place for us as we got engaged here, so will definitely be back!!

Everything was perfect, the photos dont do this gem any justice. Cannot recommend highly enough... Try relaxing in your Jacuzzi with the outdoor fire place burning while you look over your own private waterfall. Its the stuff of dreams.

Stunning! A secluded cottage that pulls out all the stops.
Falls river took our breath away. The pictures do not do this place justice. Daryl and Donna have created a sanctuary that is hands down the best self maintained accommodation I have ever stayed in. The cottage is immaculate but very cozy. There are so many thoughtful additions (exclusive access to a waterfall, fireplace, aircon, functional kitchen, deck,bbq, pizza over, spa) that no matter what the season, the cottage can be thoroughly enjoyed. Our stay was private and memorable. I can't fault Daryl and Donna's attention to detail. My partner and I were so impressed
