It was a lovely property and nice to see things left for us to use eg fruit cereals washing up liquid and other items ...house was generally clean and it was in a quiet area
Only thing we found was a dirty towel under the couch ...in front bedroom some toenails clippings in wardrobe..and tap in kitchen constantly dripping

Handy for getting public transport into the city centre. Quiet at night and very comfortable beds.
Only one loo and the decor needs updating. Looks like owners don't care about their guests when decor is old with dirty wallpaper etc

Thanks for leaving us some fruit, bread, milk, fruit juice and cereal. Also, plenty of games/books.
The house was clean but had a musty smell. Could be that the previous occupants smoked inside.
Room for 8 adults plus small child. However, having only one bathroom would make that difficult.

Ideal location for Lets Rock Scotland. Big enough for our group of people. Drive fitted 2 cars ,but tricky manoeuvres needed if car parked across from drive. Bread milk cereal and fruit were good quality.Kichen had everything you would need.Plenty towels and toilet rolls provided.

Location was poor and out of the main attractions. Ammentities poor and in need of maintenance. Utensils and pots were not clean.up keep of the house was poor.

Absolutely exceptional host. Definitely would stay in any of the properties she is taking care of in the future.
Small technical issue with the property made our stay a bit more complicated but when people are happy these things can be managed.

The property was very warmly prepared. Our car was able to be parked inside the compound of the house. The stay was fantastic and the kids like the house vey much. It is highly recommended. Although the breakfast was simple, we enjoyed them.
The location is fairly near to the city centre. However, it is the main purpose of our stay in order to avoid the traffic of the city centre.
Everything is perfect. However, the cost is slightly on the high side.

The house was clean and welcoming with fresh bread, fruit, milk, fresh orange and tea/coffee. Fresh bedding and towels in three large bedrooms. A double sofabed in living room should you need it. Drive with gates so the car was secure. Had a very comfortable stay. Tv and internet. Kitchen equipped with everything you'd need should you be staying for a while. Was a great location to stay to visit the Christmas market in Edinburgh. Will definitely stay again
Would like to have had taxi numbers, bus route information and various local takeaway menus, but we managed.

Location is handy for getting to and around Edinburgh. Nice to have off-road, gated parking. Also very good to have dog-friendly garden. Nice to have the useful supplies left for us by the hosts
Some dogs can get over the low garden wall to next door on right side of garden.

The house met our needs and the hosts were responsive when contacted. The rooms were as described and provided a big enough space for our group to stay. Convenient transport links nearby and parking available on the street. However considering the price of the property, we were satisfied.
There was no hot water from the taps (the shower was fine). The breakfast provided was sufficient but very basic. The house was a little run down in places and could benefit from some touch ups.

It worked extremely well for our needs. The host provides much more than expected in terms of welcome food/fruits and the kitchen is well stocked. Private parking is a bonus.

Perfectly adequate stay. Lovely, well-maintained garden, decent beds and rooms, and the hosts were kind enough to provide basic supplies for sustenance such as bread and fruit. Communication with the hosts was also pleasant, straightforward, and prompt.
Bath lacked a bath plug, large (clearly old) cobwebs in ceiling corners (specifically on the upstairs landing), some damage to the bathroom door, etc.
Parking is a tight squeeze for larger vehicles when another car is parked opposite the driveway (the small gate doesn't help), but it's doable.
Nothing significant, really, just minor niggles.
