Nature's Retreat is located in a beautiful area only 30 minutes drive from Pigeon Forge Tn and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park plus Hot Springs N.C Mineral Bath and Spa..Only 3 miles to boat launch at Douglas Lake . A Beautiful Country Drive To the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg Tennessee The cabin is ideal for a peaceful Get A Way for family's or perfect for the Honeymooners. The cabin offer's 1250 square feet of living accommodation's for 2 to 6 people. There are 2 queen bedrooms plus a queen sleeper sofa on the main level plus a great room with vaulted wood ceiling's and a gas fireplace to snuggle up in front of the 50 HDTV on those cool winter nights. Plus the main level also has a fully equipped kitchen if you desire to cook to help save money on expensive meals eating out for every meal .. plus the full size bathroom tub / shower combo is also on the main level . . There are NO steps into this cabin making it idea to bring Granny & Grandpa along with you on your vacation .The private large hot tub is located on the rear deck and has privacy panels around it . The loft area has a pool table , checkers , Card's and 2 full size futon's for sleeping if you need more sleeping room. This cabin is a fun & relaxing getaway with the opportunity to visit attractions in nearby Pigeon Forge , Dollywood/Splash Country , Dixie Stampede & Gatlinburg Tennessee . There is also a Fire Ring , Charcoal Grill, Corn Hole, and a Picnic Table so therefore you can grill out and enjoy the Fire Ring if you so desire . Place was really clean. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. The property manager was really nice and friendly. Offered to get us anything from town if we needed it. Overall was a neat little cabin to stay at.

The wife and I were renting this property just for some relaxation during Labor Day. We found plenty. The cabin was nicely kept, and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. Even stopped by to play his guitar for us, but still respected or privacy. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at the property couldn’t have been better. The property is very quiet and private. The owner, David, was very nice and accommodating. We will be back!

Great cabin
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just as pictured and described. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table, we cooked a lot at the cabin, the kitchen had everything we needed. The cabin is in a super quiet location and we even saw deer behind the cabin everyday. David was super friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this cabin!

Check in was easy, owner was friendly.. There was left over eggs and bacon on a paper plate in the microwave (that I smelled as I was pre-heating the oven for a quick pizza). The jacuzzi was a nightmare. We used it the first night.. it was dark. We used it the next morning and when we turned the jets on, there was so much solid material, and some type of film that bubbled and frothed when the jets were on we immediately got out, showered and didn't use it again on our 6 day stay.
I have rented 5 VRBOs thus far and this is bottom of the list. Owner was friendly though!

David was the perfect host. Even invited us to hear him play music at the music barn. Everything is close by. Cabin was perfect and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you David.

Great vacation spot!
We really loved this property. It’s in a secluded area but close enough to towns to drive to. The cabin is exactly as pictured and very clean. We absolutely loved it and David was very nice. So glad we got to meet him! We hope to be back soon!

Absolutely Wonderful!
I 100% recommend this cabin! We will consider this cabin or the new smaller cabin David is building for future stays in the area. Our whole family loved it. Had everything we needed, was super clean, loved having a washer/dryer. It's 45 min to an hour away from Gatlinburg/PF/Sevierville, but it's a pretty mountainous drive. We didn't mind the distance as we didn't want to be surrounded by people and traffic. We never really saw or heard the neighbors, so we felt pretty secluded which was nice. The city is super close to run to the store, get gas, etc. Seven of us stayed over Thanksgiving Week and had a blast. We hope to stay again in the future. Thanks!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay as we celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary. It was a quiet area, and we had a very peaceful stay. The owner was very nice, and stoped by to help when we couldn't figure out the hot tube. haha Thank you!

The listing should say that this is not a log cabin. This looks like a house. It is on a residential street, the yard was not mowed, the surrounding did not feel safe for some one who is not an avid outdoor person. The pole near the house had a sign, not for stupid people and beware of dog signs with two dogs were directly across the road. Also being black, I did not feel safe with seeing a confederate flag on a truck near by. Also the road was not a road I wanted to keep driving up and down for six days and nights to get to areas to shop and sightsee. Also I did not see a dusk to dawn light.

Beautiful and so clean
David takes great care of his property. We couldn't believe how clean it was when we arrived. I have stayed at many VRBO's but Davids cabin was by far the cleanest. Thanks for having us and we cant wait to stay again next year.

Dave is an awesome host with a beautiful cabin! Loved being so close to lake Douglas but also not to far to go visit gatlinburg. Hot tub was great! Our 2 year old also had an amazing time.
