About this house rental
Situated in Burlington, this attractive house for $175 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This is the Master Bedroom with en suite full bath in a private home . The owners are onsite with their own separate entrance. Guests and Owners use their own entrances. The Doors to each of entrances are kept locked. Guests are given their own key. The Door from the hallway into the Master Bedroom and the sliding door onto the private deck both can be locked from the inside. The Owner's Bedroom in the North West corner is as far from the Guest Quarters in the South East Corner corner of the house as possible and there are additional sliding doors between the guest hall and the remaining parts of the home. The space is private/ quiet /safe/and secure. There is off street parking only in the driveway and just steps from the well lit entrance to the front door. We are in walking distance to the Burlington Marketplace Downtown shopping area, The University of Vermont , Champlain College, and Lake Champlain Waterfront... ( 1/2 mile walk to Burlington Ferry To Port Kent NY to connect with NYC Montreal AmTrack May to September) Ten Minutes drive to/from Burlington Airport. 90 minute drive to/from Montreal Canada. Uber and Taxis available. The room has a KING BED, flat screen 32 inch tv, premium Comcast cable/streaming Roku 3, WiFI. Access directly from the room to private outdoor deck as second egress. Sunset and Lake Views. Towels and bed linen are provided. This is no smoking/vaping anywhere inside or outside of our property. Pets are not permitted. There are no laundry or kitchen facilities for guests... State of Vermont Room Taxes are collected when you complete your reservation. We were in town for parents weekend and this was a great option. We were located just around the block from the campus and easy walk downtown to Church Street. We would definitely stay here again. The room was very private with our own separate enterence.

Communication with owners was very good. They wrote us prior to our trip with all the information we would need upon arrival.
The place was perfect for our visit to Burlington. It was about 1/2 mile from the downtown/retail area and was very walkable. The master suite had everything we needed and we did get to enjoy the walkout deck for a bit.
The owners though present, gave us our space. They met us upon arrival and provided us with contact info if we needed anything. We ran into them briefly as we were leaving and what was it. They were very nice.
We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore Burlington!

Room was clean and neat. Spacious enough for what we needed. Access was easy. Bed was very comfortable. Only thing lacking it would be nice to have a cup of coffee in the morning.

So happy we stayed here! Check-in was a breeze, large room and bathroom; was very clean. Felt very private even though Woody and Bill were on site, because of our separate entrances. They were very helpful when we had questions which was very much appreciated.
The location was great- close to downtown; we used uber a couple of times and didn't have any issues.
The only thing that I could think to make it even better was to have a small fridge for water or leftovers; but since they were upfront on their house rules we planned accordingly.
Would definitely stay again, if we make it back to Burlington.

Bill and Woodie were wonderful hosts - kind, communicative, and accommodating. Their place is lovely and comfortable and had everything I needed and more. Burlington is amazing and the location of their house was perfect for exploring the city. 10/10 would stay here again. Thank you Bill and Woodie for a perfect getaway!

Such gracious hosts in a geat location. Only notes of improvement for the suggestion box would be a mini-fridge and a coffee maker in the bedroom or adjacent common area. The private access worked very smoothly. The wrap-around back deck was a pleasant surprise.
The house is walkable to the downtown area; beware, walking up hill on the way home is a glutes buster!
TL;DR: We had a great time and would stay here again.

Excellent place with thoughtful hosts, in a beautiful and convenient spot. Would have been even better if we'd had a mini fridge (hosts refrigerated cheese for us though) and some way to brew coffee or at least heat water (we did not ask).

Very comfy accomodations, beautiful view and walking distance to Church St. No desk or table (except outside) so maybe not ideal if you are working (I wasn't). Host even helped me find the right channel to watch my sporting event! Thanks for a great stay!

We loved staying in Bill and Woodie's home. We meet them on check-in and they were very accommodating. Their neighborhood was beautiful and right next to UVM where we caught a soccer game. Close proximity to everything you would want to see. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time celebrating in Burlington for the weekend. This was our first time staying in a Vrbo where the owners lived on the property. It was totally fine. Nice hosts that are ready to accommodate you, but not in your space at all. The bed was super comfy and the space was just what we needed. I guess I had in my head from when I booked that we would be able to walk to Church Street fairly easily, but the location is just far enough and hilly enough that you’d need to drive or take an Uber if you were dressed up to go out. Definitely not a dealbreaker, but just good to plan for. Would have been great to have small fridge to store the beer we bought from local breweries, but we made it work.

My daughter and I were in town for a college visit and could not have been more pleased with our stay and it’s proximity to downtown and to her college. Woodie and Bill were extremely attentive and so kind. The suite was very nice and clean. We will be returning.

Amazing view of Lake Champlain! Near downtown Burlington. Quiet neighborhood. Clean private room. The Hosts' made it so simple for us to check in and check out, the were very responsive with any questions. I would stay here again.

Location is absolutely excellent, Bill stayed up late to check us in (sorry Bill!) and was super sweet. Communication was easy throughout the booking process, and he even helped us bring bags in once we arrived.

Staying at this property was a dream come true. The accommodations were inviting, close to everything and had a great view of Lake Champlain. The hosts were warm and friendly. Couldn’t of asked for a better weekend away! I can’t wait to go back!

Bill's private room was exactly what we needed! He met us for the initial check-in process and showed us the space, which was separate from the rest of the house. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Easy to get in and out, as well as close to downtown and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Great place for UVM parents to stay. Just a few blocks from campus and a short walk to downtown and the waterfront areas. Very clean and comfortable with great lake views!

The house is in a quiet lovely neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to downtown (church st). The room has a private entrance, was clean and comfortable and had a nice patio area with beautiful views. FYI there was no coffee machine or hairdryer.

My wife and I visited Burlington for a short, two-night stay. Bill and Woodie were kind and greeted us at the property, showed us around the suite, and gave us space and privacy to do our thing. The accommodations were nice, clean, and well-sized for us (two adults with carry-on size luggage, each).
We'd definitely recommend and consider this property for another visit.
