On our arrival our host Ante gave us a warm and personal welcome. He invited us for a small drink - pear brandy for me and for my wife a brandy that was less strong - and told us about places to see, where to go shopping, where we could eat etc.
The apartment itself is clean and had everything we needed. It's not spacious but as we could use the garden, that wasn't a real problem. Do take mosquito repellent when you decide to sit there.
The most important thing to see in Dubrovnik is the Old Town. The apartment is about 4 to 5 km from the Old Town so a quick visit is not really in order. Of course we knew that when we booked the apartment, it's also what explains the attractive pricing.
You can walk to the Old Town or take the bus. A walk will take about 45 minutes and the bus, well, it can be a challenge to get on it as you won't be the only one going to, our coming back from, the Old Town.

Ante e sua moglie sono ottimi host 😊 Bellissime spiagge, ristoranti e supermercati facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Eravamo 2 coppie e non ci è mancato nulla.

J'ai vraiment apprécié l'accueil du propriétaire, quelqu'un de très sympathique et qui parle français. Il nous a très bien renseigné sur les visites à ne pas rater, sur les moyens de transport et tout ce qui peut être utile pour passer un bon séjour.
Ce commentaire concerne le studio en sous-sol. Il est vétuste et très très sombre. Il est équipé du strict nécessaire, mais avec des équipements vieillots. Littéralement la description est juste. Mais le jardin est minuscule, au niveau du sous-sol, et les très beaux citronniers coupent toute la luminosité. La terrasse existe aussi, mais couverte, sans vue ni soleil, également en sous-sol, sans accès direct depuis le studio, et sur le passage qu'utilise les propriétaires pour accéder à leur logement.
