The location, its spaciousness and responsiveness of the host.
Unit 3
The shower (over bath) leaked significantly all over the bathroom floor. The host was informed and let me know this is fixed.
The bathroom washbasin’s push down plug doesn’t pop up so you have to lever it. The host also know about this.
While out of control of the host, both nights we were there, there was an excessively noisy neighbour somewhere in the surrounding complex laughing and calling out until at least midnight - recommend you bring your earplugs to manage this.

Estuvimos 5 noches acompañando a nuestra hija que estudia este semestre en Karlstad University La experiencia ha sido maravillosa. El apartamento está equipado con todo lo necesario y es muy acogedor.. Está super bien situado a un pasp de todo.. Tieme cerca varios supermercados y la plaza principal donde paran todas las lineas urbanas. La zona es muy bomita. Disfrutamoa de largos paseos bordeando el rio y los canales. Quedamos enamorados de Karlstad y Suecia pero sobretodo de su gente muy educada y amable. La propetaria es encantadora y está atenta a las necesidades del huesped. Repetiría sin dudarlo.

Nydelig innredet leilighet med langt høyere standard enn forventet. Kjempefin beliggenhet og deilig veranda. Supert med låsbar sykkelbod. Kode til ytterdør og nøkkelbpks til leiligheten fungerte helt prikkfritt. Alt var nydelig!

This review is for flat number 3, which looks over the inner yard and is on the lower floor. It is a no frills apartment, with limited space, two beds and somewhat outdated, but does-the-trick furniture. The kitchen is equipped with a micro and a filter coffee machine. Coffee was available. There was no milk and a minimum of what former guests had left. You will have to walk a bit to find some food, so if you arrive late, bring your own or order take-out. There is a hair dryer, an iron and board, some shampoo and some soap. Towels are available as are sheets. For 20-25 Euros more you get a boutique-type hotel downtown, including breakfast.
You are asked to clean the fridge and throw away the trash. Unfortunately, it is not easy to locate the trash room, which is outside. The whole building appears to be rental apartments, for short term visits. The walls are very thin and you easily hear your neighbours. Note that the wifi is very weak in this apartment.
