I had a very pleasant stay at Bayer’s Boardinghouse und Hotel. The location is convenient, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The staff were helpful and professional, which made the stay even easier. A good option for both a short city stay and a longer visit. I would gladly stay here again.

We liked the location, just one block away from the main station, so that was very convenient. The place is located in a culturally middle eastern street, with many afghani restaurants, they were very delicious, there is also a grocery store right across the road.
There was lots of space in the apartment as well, which was nice and the kitchen was very well equipped, except for a toaster.
The property feels quite old overall. The shower was awkward to get in and out of and the water pressure/quality wasn’t great.
It’s located on a main street, so it was extremely noisy. We stayed for three nights and I didn’t feel well rested by the end of the stay.
The pillows and linen were very old and didn’t feel nice. The pillow provided on the first night had an unpleasant smell and was uncomfortable to sleep on, so I requested a replacement the following night, which was provided and was better.
The bed itself was very uncomfortable, with a noticeable sag on one side.
Lighting in the apartment was very limited — it was essentially either all lights on or nothing, especially in the living area.
The floor was also dirty and didn’t seem properly cleaned.
