Extremely attractive city of Split, under the protection of UNESCO, will surely enchant you with its charm and spirit of its inhabitants. Built 17 centuries ago around the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian, offers a numberless cultural and historical attractions as well as a superb range of Mediterranean gastronomy specialties and wines. Most of the rooms in Villa have a balcony with a spectacular sea view to the Dalmatian islands and mountains. Equipped by air-condition, large HD-TV, free Wi-Fi, free monitored parking place, etc. The best time to discover Dalmatia with its reach cultural heritage and natural beauties is the spring and the fall at significantly reduced prices. You can freely enjoy in all outdoor activities (sailing, fishing, tennis, golf, biking, hiking, seakayaking, mountaineering) during not so hot sunny days. I just spent a week at this hotel, renting all 15 apartments for 30 people. We had a great time, and the manager, Mladen, is a wonderful host who has great advice on things to do. He also organized a few transports for us for 30 people with almost no notice and always came through at a good price. His daughters, who work at the upstairs cafe were also great. The apartments are comfortable and clean with little kitchens, views are amazing, the pool is fantastic, the beach is right there, and the town of Stobrec was a pleasant surprise to spend time in. Very cute, charming, family friendly. Overall, I'd highly recommend a vacation at Beach Hotel Ark.

We stayed at Ark Apartments for 2 days prior to going on a cruise. The apartments were clean and very well appointed and the views were amazing. Breakfast in the morning was a real bonus. Mladen and his family were fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough for us.
The apartments are short walk from town where there are lots of restaurants, cashpoints and supermarket.
I would definitely stay here again if we came back to Croatia. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Short Stay
We stayed at Ark Apartments for 2 days prior to going on a cruise. The apartments were clean and very well appointed and the views were amazing. Breakfast in the morning was a real bonus. Mladen and his family were fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough for us.
The apartments are short walk from town where there are lots of restaurants, cashpoints and supermarket.
I would definitely stay here again if we came back to Croatia. Highly recommended.

Great family adventure

Croatia Trip 2016 in Villa Ark! 👍👍👍
we arrived on 15 July , but we had no apartment . By chance we came across the Villa Ark and have remained . Luckily!
we were received very friendly , the owner of the villa was very helpful , any time they were to place when we have something needed.

My son and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for three weeks while on an extended holiday in Europe.
Our rooms overlooked the ocean and the treetops, and our table and chairs on the porch were a gorgeous place to sit. The property itself is so well tended and it is true that the walk down the private path to the beach is literally on the doorstep.
The rooms are light, clean, and decorated beautifully. Your hosts are on the premises and are incredibly kind. Mladen is incredibly responsive to any request. Example ...I told him I was wanting to rent a car and he was on the phone in minutes and arranged to have a car delivered to me at the house the next morning, met with the rental reps with me in the driveway and of course supplied me with directions and advice on our trip.
The town of Stobrec is lovely and the bus to Split is very easy to manage. We stayed during the month of February and had most tourist sites almost completely to ourselves.
Could not recommend this rental more highly

Excellent location for a big group
The house was perfect for a big group.
We spent a week with 30 people.
The location is very nice, near split (20 min with taxi) and just at the beach.
Mladen will always do it's best to fulfill any request.

Wonderfulf location, view, hospitality
First of all, the location of the villa is perfect. It is basically set on the beach and a few minutes walk from the village Stobrec. The rooms are spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, making them very comfortable to stay in. The bar upstairs has a beautiful view over the sea, and enjoying a drink served by Mladen and his crew on one the swining chairs is better than ever. I was there with a group of almost 50 guys, and the villa was perfect for us. Mladen is possibly the kindest person I have ever met. Always happy, positive, and eager to tell his wonderful stories or history lessons. He is a true people's friend. If I were to visit Croatia again, there is no doubt that I would give Mladen a visit, preferably for a longer time. We could not have asked for a better stay and a better host in Croatia.

Wonderful location, facilities and hospitality
First of all, the location of the villa is perfect. It is basically set on the beach, and only a few minutes walk from the center of Stobrec. All rooms are spacious, clean, and air-conditioned. The bar upstairs has a balcony with a beautiful view over the sea, so enjoying a drink served by Mladin and his crew is better than ever. Mladin, the owner of the villa, is possibly the kindest person I have met. He is always happy, positive and very easy to talk to. Furthermore, he knows everything about everything, and really enjoys telling his customers his wonderful stories or history lessons. If I were to visit Croatia again, there is no doubt that I will give Mladin a visit, preferably for a longer time.

Besser konnten wir unseren ersten Urlaub in Kroatien nicht verbringen, wunderschöne Lage, sehr schöne Zimmer und bestes Wetter.Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte wir auch Mladen und seine Familie. Überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend wenn es um die Zusammenstellungen von Tagesausflügen und empfehlenswerte Restaurants in der Region ging. Selbst Tische reservieren kein Problem. Perfect place to stay in the greater Split area!
We spent 4 nights at Villa Ark and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our proprietor Mladen and his lovely family were so very kind to us. Mladen was incredibly responsive to our needs and he was ever the gracious host. The studio apartment we stayed in was very spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. We had an absolutely breath-taking view of the sea with a large balcony. I would highly recommend Villa Ark to anyone. It is in the pretty little seaside town of Stobrec which is a short drive from Split and conveniently located near to many other historical sites and other attractions. We highly recommend touring Split and Trogir and also taking the ferry from Split to Hvar. Our only regret is we did not have enough time to go to the nearby national parks. We hope to do that on our next trip and we will, of course, stay at Villa Ark.

Excellent location for large groups
Travelled as a group of 12 including children ages 3 to 15. Excellent location right on the water for swimming. No need to walk or drive for a swim.
Beautiful view of sea and mountains from apartment and rooftop terrace. We gathered as a group on the terrace as well as had family dinners on the balcony. Mladen gave great restaurant and activity recommendations for our large group. He made arrangements for private tour of islands and day of water rafting. Apartments are new and clean. Loved the laundry service.
Everything you need is within walking distance.
The town of Stobrec is quaint and close to Split for sightseeing.
Couldn't imagine a better host and place for the area.

Location:perfect,close to the sea and beach,also near to Split,just few minutes with car,sea view and view on Brac island,parking and garden. Interior:new,modern,extremely clean and cosy for living,with all the things you will need in your stay.Hosts Milena,Mladen and their two daughters are very kind,generous and really nice people.It is really one of the nicest appartments we have ever stayed in our life for very very good price.Julia and Zeljka from Zagreb.10/10

Mladen's Irish Angels
Transfer was arranged from the airport, and we arrived in very clean appartments. Mladen was more than welcoming and showed us around the building on arrival. We were surprised with complimentary champagne and food to welcome us. Mladen and his family were very helpful and kind. Couldn't have asked for a better host.
