It’s tricky to get to the city or other parts of the coast

Apart from time with long-missed relatives in other parts of Italy, this was our family's favourite stay The apartment was below the family home located high above the Amalfi Coast with views through the olive trees. Rachele was a perfect hostess and helped us in every way she could, even with home-made biscuits and supplies to help our New Year's celebration. It was lovely being part of the small town life over those festive days and it was a good base for us to visit Pompeii, Naples and Capri using the local bus service down to Sorrento before linking to the train or ferry as needed. A local tip - make sure you have dinner down the hill to Sant'Agata at Ristorante Da Mimi (it was so good that we ended up eating there every night during our stay!). Highly recommended

No clothes dryer so you will need some sunshine... usually not a problem around Amalfi

The location was great to tour the Sorrento peninsula and the view was stunning but what was absolutely perfect was the warmth and hospitality the family that manages the property welcomed us with. They treated us like family and were so kind and helpful. The property was so clean, I was really impressed. Gated parking was available and close to a supermarket. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone!
