It was the most beautiful overnight stay I've ever had.
The navigation didn't bring us to the front door. We started asking around for the address and realised that our English, Latvian and Russian weren't going to be much help here.
When we finally found the right house, two big dogs — like bears — came out to greet us. I could see my wife's heart already leaping!
Then we met the host, who knew a little Russian. He took us to our lodgings. As the gate opened, out came a sheep, a little horse, and hens with a rooster! Everything around us looked like an open-air museum. And then the host's story — that a witch had once lived in the little house where we'd be sleeping. It all felt so thrilling and fascinating.
We were also given the run of a large building, one end of which had been set up as a museum with a really wide range of photographic equipment — Zenit, Smena, Lubitel, and a few professional cameras as well. I was allowed to look at them, to hold them in my hands. In the other wing of that big room there was a billiard table, a small kitchen, sound equipment, and a video projector with a full screen. The host said it was all at our disposal.
The little witch's house had 2 separate beds and an old stove. Then we went to see the shower room, 80 metres from the lodgings. Everything there was in the very best order. The hosts also said we could use the kitchen in that building. It, too, had everything you could need — a fridge, a microwave and other odds and ends.
Just imagine: in the morning, while I was working on my laptop in the billiard room, a sheep suddenly nudged me with her nose — affectionately, unobtrusively, carefully. Simply paradise on earth! Had I known it would be this good here, I'd have booked at least a week.
I couldn't have guessed it would be this good here.

Cudowna lokalizacja, domki skąpane w cudownej zieleni.
Cisza i spokój.
Domek który wynajęliśmy miał mieć basen, po przyjeździe okazało się, że basen jest w remoncie - taka informacja nie została podana przed wynajmem.
A to spora rozbieżność od tego co znajduje się w ogloszeniu.
Domek mógłby być lepiej posprzątany, pajęczyny itp.
Woda w kranach o kolorze brunatnym.
