Passable
Good communication with the property management. Good location, close to the airport, shopes and restaurants. Excellent base to explore Lofoten. Great view from the house overlooking the sea and the mountains. The part of the house seems to be new build fitted with beautiful panoramic windows and cosy place to relax which are the big benefit of the house.
One of the reasons for renting this house was Jacuzzi, with a hope of observing the sky for the serch of norhen light chilling in a warm water. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi it was unusable, unless I clean it myself, connect all pipes , fill in with water, buy the wood and burn the wood to heat the water which according to home instructions takes between 2.5-5 hours! Jacuzzi is not located at the back of the house as stated in the advert but across the road and by the road ,away from home with no privacy at all.Big disapointmen. Second reason for my disapointmen is the house itself, which is very small ( not as shown on the pictures) Claustrophobic old and outdated bathroom with not enough space for one person and no space to place cosmetics. I stayed with family of 4. When taking short showers by each of us, there was not enough hot water for the last person. The house has no wardrobes, there is only one chest of drawers. We had to keep our clothes in the suitcases. Simply because the house is to small with no space for wardrobe. Unless small utility room converted into some sort of wardrobe. The master bedroom has reasonable good size but second bedroom is separated to fit two beds and act as two bedrooms but this is also a walk through room. Beds are comfortable but the duvets and pillows are so old and looks like being used for years. Not plesent at all. Kitchen fitted with all necessary facilities but also so outdated. Every time we used the kettle, the fuses were down. We gave up using the kettle after while and hitted the water on electric hob. The house was very cold on arrival,we used electric heating which warmed the house after while but when we wanted to use the fireplace to make the place more cosy, there was no wood available. Overall the house is to pricy for what it can offer. I felt very excited about this house before going but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. I feel vert disappointed.

Hot tub is a great advantage - choose it for that!
Perfect and peaceful location. Hot tub is a great option - but bear in mind it takes at least 3-5 hours to make it ready and you need to buy your own wood - which is not mention until you arrive. So if you want to use it few times, few hours - add up few hundred NOK to your expenses. The house has everything you basically need - all kitchen utensils. Fireplace makes it extra cosy. The instructions on arrival include need of careful cleaning whole house after your leaving or paying cleaning fee of 400 NOK. It is not mention on booking.com. We didn't do any of those because of limited time - just left the house in decent state as we found it. The contact with the owner is very smooth - she responds messages and calls as needed. Self-check-in is a great option, makes your stay flexible. The bathroom is very cramped but for a few day stay it doesn't really matter. The bedrooms upstairs have comfortable beds and fresh bed linen - which you put yourself - so If you expect 'ready to use house' - bear in mind that it's more a hut-renting style, where you prepare the place for stay and clean everything after yourself. Overall -it was a good choice to choose the place - sitting in the midnight at hot tub and looking at the view is just unforgettable.
Missing information on booking.com and advanced, detailed arrival guide - with information one should know before arrival. Hopefully owner updates description on booking.com - otherwise nothing else to complain about!
