A wonderful wonderful small oasis of calm and cool on the middle of busy porto.
Rooms were large and comfortable.
Facilities including the breakfast was excellent.
Staff were delightful. Margarida the main contact is absolutely superb and a lovely person. 10/10!

A beautiful escape in a busy city! Casa do Cativo was up there with our favorite parts of our trip to Porto. Margarida could not have been more communicative and kind, from letting us check in early, to her personal tour when we arrived, the personal and kind touches to the room, as well as the hospitality—not to mention the incredible free breakfast. It was a dream and I couldn't have been happier with our stay!

The apartment is in an impressive building has everything you need,
It is also very central in Porto. A few minutes walk to the cathedral, train station and into the main centre. An added bonus is the small pool area if you would like a few hours chill from touring around. Margarida and her staff make you very welcome and you can even have breakfast in your room if you are on a trip or leaving early for the airport. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

The beautiful apartment was airy yet really cosy. Great with a pool out the back as it was pretty hot on the days we stayed.
No lift to our floor - but to be expected in Porto.
