We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Porto. It was stylish comfortable, clean & friendly with a touch of quirkiness about it. Our room was spacious but a bit different as the bed was in the middle of the room & the bathroom was kind of open plan in the room - with doors to shower & loo so you had some privacy. Breakfast was lovely & the staff were friendly & helpful. Also for a hotel right in the middle of town it was quiet. Our room looked out onto a side street so not sure if rooms facing the front would be so quiet. But the location of this hotel is the key! So convenient.
For a deluxe room, the bed in our room was just a standard double - small for these days in hotels especially if you’re going to class the room as deluxe.
The window was the length of the room and looked straight into the building next door so curtains were kept closed for privacy. Having said this we were out in Porto most of the day so it didn’t really matter.
The space downstairs was open plan dining, reception & lounger & very welcoming but the upstairs halls were very dark and heavy.

A manager committee to get back to me in persons regarding the found problem with lack of hot water in morning time
There was no hot water in the two rooms throughout the entire morning. I approached the staff, and it took almost three hours until a proposal for alternative rooms was provided. As a result, a significant part of the only full day we had in Porto was lost, since we had to wait for a solution in order to take a proper shower with hot water. I was informed by the manager that a senior manager would contact me to discuss and offer some form of compensation. I even sent a reminder, however it appears the hotel chose to ignore it
