New, clean, comfortable, and modern hotel. The rooms are spacious and truly welcoming. Safe, plenty of space, and various complimentary amenities. Excellent location for getting around and exploring the city.
The hotel would be wonderful if:
The staff were more helpful and attentive. There was no hot water for an entire day, and we were offered a room change. That would have been fine, had we not been required to pack our bags, bring them down to reception, and wait to be assigned a new room. I would have expected to pack, of course, but with the hotel managing the transfer with minimal effort and time wasted for the guest. It would’ve taken very little. But it wasn’t suggested nor done.
The staff were more cheerful. The reception felt sad and overly serious.
There were toilet brushes in the bathrooms. They’re missing in all of them. You can imagine the result.
The bathroom, though brand new and spacious, lacks any form of privacy—saloon-style doors facing the bed, unpleasant smells, and embarrassment.
The minibar had nothing complimentary. Overpriced items with standard contents.
Breakfast had a very limited selection of pastries. Croissants should never be missing in an international hotel.
The room corridors had strange odors. Both the second and third floors looked brand new and flawless, but emitted an unpleasant smell.
Only one electronic key for two guests. Inconvenient. Why not provide two?
In the second room, the "double bed" was just two singles pushed together. The mattresses weren’t top quality and sagged at the edges. The beds, however, were comfortable.
Towel supply was minimal. No bathrobes. Just one small bath towel and one hand towel. That’s it.
In summary, I expected more attention and better care in guest relations. We felt quite neglected, especially when there was no hot water.
