Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Lovely lady who looked after us, don't know her name but she was great!
Great location, easy to find. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.There wa a safe for valuables which was useful. Comfy bed. Room clean.
Although there was a kettle there was no coffee,tea, etc available. No ironing board, iron, which led to miscommunication over payment when I asked for a skirt to be ironed.

There are no grab bars or nonskid bathtub mats in the bathrooms, and no railings next to some staircases where there should be for people walking with canes or other types of mobility support. This is inexcusable at this point in the 21st-century, especially for a country like Portugal, which receives a lot of of senior aged tourists and a hotel is expensive as this one was/is.
The breakfast is unimaginative and pedestrian, at best, and is served on dishes and other equipment like scafing pans dating from the late 1900s. That said, staff in the breakfast service area are excellent.
