Do not ho there…

We did not receive the room we have booked. Property knew they are unable to provide the type of room, but did not think customer should know in advance. In fact, they did not even tell us that when we arrived but only when they gave us room keys. Hotel stuff did not understand why this problematic and did not consider anything to tell/explain/compensate Rooms are very old with cranky floors so if someone walks outside your room or above your room you will hear it as if that person is in your room

Size of room, ventilation in room. Noise. Style and age of furnishings bed was uncomfortable. Cheep polyester sheets.

We enjoyed our stay.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is good, walkable to main tourism spots.

Guess due to it is old building, the sound proof is not as solid as new buildings. You can hear neighbours talk or shower, buts everyone is trying their best to be quiet and considerate so it’s not a big deal. After 23:00 it will be quiet and easy to sleep.

ideal location to explore porto

location is right by great strip of restaurants and all the sights, staff are extraordinary- helpful and proactive, breakfast was excellent

noisy , thin walls so you can hear your neighbors and lots of construction on the road outside . rooms are basic .

Perfect location in the centrer but in a quite area Nice and polite front office Very stylish hotel

As the most renovated hotels they don't pay attention to soundproof walls made from plasterboard. You can hear everything from the rooms around. Also the floors are very cracky noisy . Not recommended for people who don't want to wake up early.

Almost perfect!

I'd say almost perfect. Clean and big enough room, comfortable bed, staff very courteous, position super central and cozy, located in a quiet street. All for an overall affordable price.

Soundproofing needs to be improved. You could easily hear what's going on next door, or in the hallway.

I had a good time at this hotel.

The staff was really kind and helpful. The hotel was really quiet. not much noise from the street. I had a really great stay. Well located for visiting and restaurants.

The only thing is that we hear the noise outside the room in the corridor, maybe would be good to unsonorize the doors.

they had a flood, the evening before, so they relocated me at other hotel that was much worse. the value for money was far from what I anticipated and I was charged the same amount.

A very special elegant hotel. I shall certainly always stay there in future

Very central but quiet location. Staff so competent helpful and just nice people. I lost my case padlock keys and the maintenance man came in minutes with bolt cutters - fantastic service. The hotel is so elegantly furnished with large landings to sit and chat - also a lounge with piano. Lovely place, staff and location Couldn't be bettered.

Superb

Exelent breakfast with, eggs, fresh fruit juices, more kind of breads and many more (everything you need for breakfast). Also there were more as 10 kind of cakes. Really comfortable bed. Exelent location and nice personal. I really recommend this hotel.

You will hear walk noises from other people on the corridor. But that is only minus of our stay there.

It could and should have been better

This hotel does NOT HAVE a restaurant and bar which is open. Its website has that the restaurant and bar are temporarily closed. How long is temporary ? I was informed that it has been closed for over a year and there are apparently no plans for either to re-open. I think it totally dishonest, indeed a lie, to state that it does have these two facilities. In reality, I have paid for two facilities that dont exist. Turn this around and ask yourself; if this hotel stated that it did not have a restaurant and bar, would you still book it ? I certainly would not have. I'm amazed and indeed shocked that travel companies are turning a blind eye to this falsehood and continuing to display this dishonest advertising on its website.

Great location, right at the heart of Porto. Not so big,, but hood value for money. Parking possible nearby at Garagem Comércio do Porto during 24h with 50% discount (20€).

Cleaning could be improved. There was some hair on the bathroom floor.

Review of Hotel Internacional Porto Portugal. Tuesday 20.12.22- Thursday 22.12.22. Central location. Room 203 with balcony. Comfortable room and bathroom. Quiet and spacious. Friendly receptionist Ana and Salama. Breakfast served by friendly Carolina. Gluten Free catered for. No eggs. Continental breakfast. Close to main train station Porto Sao Bento. Close to Rua Santa Catarina shopping street. Close to Six bridges boat cruise. Red City bus tours. Cable car ride. All within walking distance.
