Nestled in Layton, this attractive house for $170 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Comfortable country home, clean and pet free with everything you need for a great stay tucked against the mountains, sleeps 6 (2 beds in each of 2 bedrooms and one queen bed in 3rd bedroom), bed rail, play n'pack, high chair as needed for the little ones, 2 family rooms and 2 TV's, spacious kitchen, internet, Prime video, 2 fireplaces (wood burning stove and traditional fireplace and wood provided), grassy half acre where you can watch the deer in the front and back yard, very near Snow Basin Ski Resort and 45 minutes to Salt Lake and Park City resorts. Hike (both winter and summer) and bike out the door, very close to family entertainment, theaters, restaurants, great family hikes, and yet, feels like a secluded property. Great neighbors, tall trees, serene yard and home. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Nice older home in the hills of Layton. Close to hiking and biking trails of the Bonnevile Lake rim trail. Perfect location to do sightseeing in the Salt Lake basin. Great for a family stay.

Holly was an amazing host! The location was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked. There were plenty of towels for my family to use. The backyard had plenty of space for our children to run around. The grill was nice to have. It was nice having 2 living areas when we had family over for dinner. If we visit Layton again in the future, we would love to stay here again!

This home was very inviting: decorated warmly and stocked well. We found the location to be easy to find, and conveniently located. The home was in a good location for us. The owner made entrance easy, which was great for our late arrival. The only issue that we had was that the property did not have a/c, but a swamp cooler instead. The owner was anxious to please us and offered us a solution and then she followed through as promised. This is a lovely property that would have been enjoyed in a cooler time of the year. We just needed a/c in the 90 degree weather week we visited.

The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The front and backyards were a complete delight - enormous green space with flowers, birds, and fruit trees! It truly felt like an oasis right up against the hillside.

Nice clean house on the mountain side. Very quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants. We loved hanging out in the backyard and relaxing after long days of outdoor activities.

The host was amazing. She kept in touch making sure everything was great. When we had an epic snowstorm 3 days in a row she arranged for the driveway to be plowed every day. We had a great time. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint cottage. We liked that it backs up to the mountain for great privacy and loved the cozy living room with a wood burning stove. The property is easily accessible for everything in the Layton/Ogden area, including our trips to Antelope Island and Weber State. Some of the linens, towels, decor could use updating, but that is a pretty minor complaint for an otherwise very nice stay.

Stayed here the first week of January 2023 with my family for a week of skiing at Snowbasin. The host was wonderful about communicating with us and had the home ready with a fire in the wood burning stove when we arrived. The house is warm and comfortable, and the host left many nice touches (the chocolates were a treat!) that made our stay absolutely wonderful. They were generous enough to leave us a garage door remote so we could easily pack and unpack our skis each day and store them in the garage overnight. The house is about a 25 minute drive from Snowbasin and I would estimate about an hour from Park City and the Big/Little Cottonwood Canyon. The neighborhood is nice and the town of Layton has everything you need. We were just so happy with our stay and highly recommend this property.

staying at this property was the best experience anyone cld have looking to stay around salt lake city. the house is perfect.everything worked great. the property is close to everything from shopping to skiing to site seeing. the home owner is by far the nicest most accommodating home owner ever. the house itself is perfect for this area. cozy fireplaces, nice appliances giant yard. my entire family was impressed from day 1 and it only got better. As for Holly there is no way anyone cld be a sweeter caring person. thank you so much Holly for everything you did for us. we are truly grateful. anyone wanting to stay around slc shld grab this house if it's available..you will absolutely love it.

Renting Holly's home for our mini vacation was absolutely perfect!! Holly made sure we had everything we could possibly need or want, and if a quick txt was sent, she responded quickly. This was my first experience with renting a home vs a hotel, and I have to say this experience will have me coming back. I will definitely recommend this place to any friends or family, or anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and beautiful place to stay. This is a very warm, homey place to stay. They have provided everything for your stay. It is close to Farmington and actually in Layton - great access to highway 89. 1/2 mile walk to Fernwood regional park/ hike. Everything worked well, hot showers, very clean! and good instructions. It was so cute and cosy with fireplaces etc. we were charmed!

Holly's home was absolutely perfect. It had everything you needed and more. Tastefully decorated, with a fully stocked kitchen. Holly is quick to respond to any questions that you might have. Location was perfect for this solo ski traveler. Snowbasin was a easy stress free 25 minute ride from this location. Highly recommended.
