Prima locatie voor een overnachting voor de overtocht naar het vasteland of een eerste stop na aankomst in the UK. Een leuk vertrekpunt voor een wandeling om de benen te strekken . Super leuke pub met goed eten, the Queens Head Inn, op 10 minuten loopafstand. Erg aardige host, super ontbijt. Lekker bed.

De accommodatie is wat over de uiterste houdbaarheids datum heen en zou een opfris beurt moeten hebben, bv versleten vloerbedekking in de kamer, oud meubilair. Alles schoon en proper, maar ouderwets.

Didn't want to walk to accommodation after meal at the pub, too dark and feared we would get lost. Recommend to use car.

Excellent breakfasts, good quality and plenty of it. The host was very very friendly and helpful in every way, nothing was too much trouble. We liked the room we had, overlooking green fields. If in the area it is the place to stay.

The host/owner was very lovely,kind, chatty and welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful and everything cooked well.

The only thing that was disappointing was the level of cleanliness. There was a real lack of attention to detail. Corners of room had spiders web, tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom were dusty. The table cloth in dining room had food stains even the radiator next to our table had splashes of old food/ drink.

The property and grounds, the room and facilities. It was so peaceful and location perfect. Breakfast was delicious and ample. Kate the host was very welcoming, so helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend staying here and we plan to make a return visit.

Nice and quiet.😴 We where racing at Lydd and a great place to recharge away from racing atmosphere , successful weekend all round Valentino Kimmi kirk was impressed which isn't easy , didn't get any 1st this weekend but two 2unds, and four 3rds as had bike issues but he kept pushing. Breakfast was excellent, lovely selection of fresh fruit and a tasty well cooked Full English. Would really recommend. Lovely comfortable room, good location in the countryside. Very peaceful.

Everything during our stay exceeded our expectations . Kate ( the owner ) was very helpful and informative and just a very pleasent person . Also a good cook and breakfast was very appetizing and well cooked . The location was very quiet ( no traffic ) and the bed was comfortable and great powerful shower ( just how i like it ) . We chose well and would not hesitate to book again in the future . Thank you Kate .

located in glorious, peaceful countryside yet only a short distance from Historic Rye,full of character and quirky. Comfortable and cosy an enormous comfy bed. 10 minute walk from local pub serving excellent food. if that wasn’t enough the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, nothing was too much trouble for Kate the owner, who will have a good chat and able to give great information about surrounding area. This was a return visit and it certainly will not be our last.
