Luiz, the host, was very helpful from the moment we arrived. If you do not have a car, there is a path into Cangas behind the house, across the river. It is about a mile (1.6km).

Beautiful, spacious and clean quarters in a great location close by to the Picos de Europa national park. The hostess is the best, very flexible and incredibly well informed in local knowledge about restaurants, places to visit etc. All recommendations!

No improvement suggestions, we had a perfect trip.

Comfortable beds, views of the river behind the house, spotlessly clean, very friendly welcome, all requests were dealt with promptly.

The fitted sheets for the beds were too small, lumpy pillows. the river view was marred by a huge open shed which was piled high with used cartons, builders rubbish and metal remnants. A similar view was to the left of the front door, this was obviously left over from refurbishing the building. the seating for living and dining was painfully uncomfortable. We were unable to turn on the cooker hood, on checking for a switch, we found it very greasy to the touch. The lighting throughout was too dim, the light in front of the bedroom did not work at all. Only the bathroom light was good.
