I absolutely loved my stay here. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful where you can relax and be surrounded by nature, this is a wonderful choice. The property has a beautiful open feel, and the garden is part of the complex, so you can really enjoy the outdoor space throughout your stay. It’s a great place for couples, families, or anyone travelling with children. In terms of value for money, I think it’s excellent. There is parking if you have a car, they rent bikes directly at the hotel, and they also offer laundry service. Water, tea and instant coffee are provided, which is a nice touch. The staff were one of the highlights of my stay — incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The location is another big plus. I absolutely love the Nimman area and would 100% recommend it, especially to European travellers. There are plenty of places nearby, including cafés that open from around 7:30 a.m. The only thing I personally didn’t enjoy was the breakfast. It’s very Asian-style, which is completely understandable considering they have many Chinese guests, but it may not be what European travellers are used to for breakfast. Luckily, with so many cafés nearby, this wasn’t really an issue for me. One thing to be aware of is the noise. You can hear planes flying overhead, and you may also hear roosters in the morning. If you’re a very light sleeper, this could be an issue. I’m a heavy sleeper, so neither bothered me at all. Overall, it’s a wonderful, relaxing place surrounded by nature, with lovely staff, great facilities and excellent value for money. I would happily stay here

The only thing I will change he is the breakfast, and the o place a good coffee machine at the lobby.

It's a very thoughtful place to stay and very unique. It was very relaxing to be surrounded by a forested garden with the tranquil sounds of the animals. It's definitely a positive place to stay.

The policy that forbids guests from bringing food back to their rooms makes sense for the wild animal issue but is very restrictive to guests. I'm not sure that I would have booked to stay there if I knew this beforehand. The breakfast options were very limited. Nothing healthy on offer. It's all snack food or desserts. I was very surprised that they didn't offer congee/rice soup which is a staple breakfast item in China and they seem to get mostly Chinese guests. Congee is also a good substitute for oats/porridge for westerners breakfast. It's no fault of Cochet but I wasn't a fan of Nimman. Too gentrified for my liking, but that is out of their control so I cannot blame them but it is unfortunate.

The staff were gorgeous and very kind, nice breakfast offered in the morning and a really cute outdoor area with chickens!

Unfortunately because of the room design, the bathroom curtains had mould on them, and the room often felt humid and damp. If the cleanliness was improved this would have been a great stay!
