Nestled in New Brunswick, this attractive house for $438 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy the peace and comfort of this bright, family owned, luxury four season vacation home privately nestled on 3 acres of lakeside forest. This high-end, open concept, rustic country residence is fully equipped, comfortably appointed with leather furniture and features open concept post & beam construction, reclaimed wide plank flooring, two full bathrooms and a beautiful granite kitchen with breakfast bar and new appliances including dishwasher. The home overlooks pristine Falls Lake and features a new wrap around deck with glass rails and an awing, BBQ, T-shaped dock, swim raft and a roomy lakeside fire pit. It also comes with lots of lake toys including two kayaks, two paddle boards, canoe, row boat and lots of life jackets; and lots of fun stuff like baseball gloves, frisbees, badminton rackets, masks, snorkels & fins, super soakers, noodles & coin toss. There's also several kids and adult board games for fun family times. The home also offers two recently renovated full bathrooms and 3 large air conditioned bedrooms upstairs and sleeps a total of 10. Each bedroom has a TV with Netflix and Prime. The cottage is also equipped with a convenient dishwasher, washer & dryer, 4 TV's and Bluetooth speaker. There's also a wood stove in the living room to snuggle up to on cooler fall & winter nights (wood supplied). The four-season vacation home overlooks 350' of water frontage on Falls Lake. During the spring and summer, the cottage is perfect for families who enjoy boating, golf, hanging at the lake, swimming off the anchored raft, exploring distant shores by trail or kayak, fishing for feisty bass or roasting marshmallows around the seasonal lakeside fire pit. During the fall and winter seasons, enjoy spectacular autumn colors, miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, downhill and cross country skiing (20 min. from Ski Martock), ice skating and snowmobiling. Falls Lake (also known as 'cottage country') is located about 60 minutes from Halifax. It's known as a four season vacation playground offering lake and ocean activities along with magnificent wild life and sightseeing. The Atlantic Ocean, Bay of Fundy, four golf courses and Ski Martock are all less than 30 minutes away. For nature lovers and wild life enthusiasts, the Lake has a number of active loon and kingfisher nests, hummingbirds, eagles, rabbits, deer, moose and an occasional sighting of the reclusive black bear. The town of Windsor in the Annapolis Valley is approximately 25 minutes from Falls Lake, offering grocery stores, hospital, museums, an Irish pub, restaurants and all the amenities of a bustling town. The town has several attractions to appeal to young and old alike including the Waterslide, Aquatic Pool Center, Fort Edward Historic Site, Hockey Heritage Museum and Haliburton House Museum. While you’re in town, stop by the local Spitfire Arms Alehouse which serves great pub food and 25 varieties of beer on tap and live entertainment on the weekends. The Annapolis Valley is also home to dozens of world class vineyards, all of which offer vineyard tours, including Bent Ridge Winery, Sainte Famille Vineyard in nearby Falmouth and many more Valley wineries such as Pete Luckett’s, Muir Murray, Jost, Gaspereau, Grand Pré and Blomidon, just to name a few. We had such an amazing time at this place. Definitely a little piece of paradise nestled in the woods right on the Falls Lake. Far exceeded our expectations and the owner David is awesome. So responsive and made sure before checking in the we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions. The home is turn-key, so all you really need to bring is yourselves, clothing and any food items you want. Other than that it is fully stocked. We are definitely looking forward to coming back in the summertime to take advantage of the beautiful lake that the home sits directly on. This is a must do if you’re looking for the perfect getaway to relax by yourself or with the family.

Bachelorette Weekend
David was an amazing host! He called me the morning we were set to check in and walked me through the whole cottage. He was also easy to contact throughout our stay (we have an issue with the alarm system), and gave great recommendations for local outings. We went to Bent Ridge due to his recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed the food (and his 15% discount)! Even though the weather was rather gloomy we made the most of it and had a great time swimming, canoeing and drinking our morning coffees on the dock. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Getaway
We spent 2 weeks at the cottage. Week 1 my wife and I were still in "work from home" mode - wifi was excellent and allowed both of us to work online (email, etc.) with no issues, week 2 was a full vacation; kayaks and canoe were used quite often and the docks are great to swim off of as well. The cottage was very well equipped and quite comfortable. Our two week stay went by in a blur and we will be looking to book there again in the future.

Puppy pickup and mini-holiday
We came to Nova Scotia from Ontario to pick up a puppy I had reserved. I looked for a place, near the breeder, to spend a few days, to let the puppy get used to us before the long drive home. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The home is beautiful, and David was a very helpful, accommodating host. He even picked up wood and wine for us, before our arrival, since we couldn't shop because of Covid. David's home could not possibly be a disappointment.

The lake house property was a great get away! We had everything that we needed and more! I had great communication with the property owner and he wanted us to be comfortable and he even checked in with me during our visit to see if we needed anything!

Amazing weekend!
Our family felt at home in this beautiful lake house! We would all walk out to the end of the dock each morning to watch the sun rise and the mist roll over the lake with our morning coffees in hand, and we would end our fun filled days next to the fire pit with s’mores in hand to watch the sunset

We enjoyed great family time at this beautiful cottage! The kids spent most of their time down by the lake swimming or paddling in various boats. We enjoyed family meals on the large deck and camp fires in the fire pit at night. The open concept main floor makes it a perfect spot when entertaining larger families. We'll definitely be back.

What a Cozy Hideaway
We were a group of ladies getting together for our annual Christmas Dinner. We stayed for the weekend and couldn't want for anything. We loved the decor, the scenery and it wasn't too long of a drive for us from Halifax. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need. Perfect for families or small groups. Great spot for winter or summer! The owner was very accommodating. We loved it!

Fall Escape to Falls Lake
David, we really enjoyed staying at the lake during last weekend. Your property had everything that we needed to catch our breath before the winter. The fall colors this time of year are simple breathtaking. We really enjoyed spending some time sitting out on the on the dock star gazing as it has been some time since I have enjoyed such a splendid visual display.

Awesome Weekend
This is our third time staying at your cottage and once again it did not disappoint. The open concept layout was perfect for our indoor time when it got a bit chilly outside and the woodstove made for a cozy indoor evening. Love the new bathrooms and it was nice to be able to sit out under the awning. Looking forward to trying the paddle board when we come back next summer. We took a day trip to Chester/Mahone Bay area, it's nice and close. As always we found the cottage clean and the host very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Another Great Get Away Weekend
This is our third time back at this lake home and once again we had a fabulous time. Since our last visit the owner has renovated both bathrooms and installed flat screen TV's & DVD players in all the bedrooms which during the one rainy day we had kept the kids entertained upstairs while we watched Netflix downstairs. We were also still able to enjoy the outdoors during the rain under a new deck awning. We spent a lot of time canoeing and kayaking on the lake and tried the paddle board for the first time. Clean cottage with great family spaces both inside and out. Highly recommend.

great location for quiet get-away
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted a quiet place on a lake to use as a base, a place to explore in every direction (Bay of Fundy, Lunenberg, etc.) and a place to hang. The lake was quiet and the location terrific. The house was a little more dated (older), darker (not enough lighting) and cluttered than I expected, but that's more a reflection of my expectations. It is a family cottage that is well equipped for vacation-users. David was an attentive host via email, text, calls.
We had a great time and would recommend it for folks with friends and families.

There is nothing that has not been thought of at this property and everything is of high end quality. It is exceptionally clean, well organized, and the owner is attentive to every detail and readily available if any issues arise.
