Although it's not by the lake, you can see the lake view from the window, and it's very close. They'll bring a hot water bottle to your room at night.

They serve both dinner and breakfast at the hotel which is useful as they are no options around. The staff was very kind and helpful and brought us hot water bottles to warm our beds. Pangong Tso is worth visiting, even if it feels a bit more like an adventure than comfort.
This is not on them but just to be aware that there is no warm water and heating is sparse so bring warm clothes! But this is common around Pangong Tso so just something to take into account. The food is not great but again to be expected given the remoteness. They use a mini wood fired heater in the room but also burn petrol to get it going which can leave a strong smell in the room.

Great location right by the lake with beautiful views, and the food was really good.
The heater in the room released quite a bit of smoke, which made the stay uncomfortable.
