Located in Manitou Springs, this charming house for $271 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This house shares river access and is a short walk from penny arcades, a zip line, shops, bars and restaurants in downtown Manitou Springs. The cabin itself has its own deck just outside the dining area and also has access to the wonderful river behind.The entire home has been remodeled with a new kitchen all new electrical, flooring and new bathrooms.Too tired to cook, no problem! A few blocks walk and you are right in the middle of town with all sorts of food and beverage choices not to mention great shopping and a penny arcade. Great place to enjoy the mountains of CO but still be walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Clean home with beautiful views. Beds and couch aren’t very comfortable but not terrible. Also, you will not have the property to yourself. There are rentals in the backyard that I guess I missed in the listing. So the backyard is not private or even that useable. Just a warning. Other than that great place.

Cleanliness was exceptional. So quiet and well lit at night if you e been late walking home. within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Plenty of space to accommodate additional guests. We would absolutely come back. Such a lovely little town and such history!

A group of friends and I came out to Pike’s Peak for my 50th Birthday. This place was perfectly located! We did drive up to the train depot but could’ve walked it. We parked back at the property and walked to downtown and enjoyed shopping, dining and the penny arcade! The stream outback made for a good spot to sip some morning coffee. I will definitely stay at this place again!

We checked in to find the property was not at all as advertised. The deck on the creek did not exist for this cabin. The pictures were for a different cabin. The shared creek space was minimal and a walk between two other cabins. Very uncomfortable for us and our dog. The enclosed patio was dirty and unfit for pets or people. The second bedroom was only accessible by narrow winding stairs that was too dangerous to access with luggage and had loose carpet with exposed nails. This was unacceptable to us for our soon arriving guests . We had to find another place to meet our needs to enjoy the remaining time in Manitou. This was time consuming and stressful. Also a huge financial burden. We contacted the host with our concerns. The hosts responded to us by offering to refund pet deposit.

"As depicted," MOSTLY! The bathrooms are not enclosed to the top, so not very private if sharing bedrooms. The upstairs sleeping space has no door at all. Only separated from the downstairs living space by a very narrow set of stairs. Otherwise, great location, nice parking situation, and roomy kitchen/living areas. Could have used more washcloths in both bathrooms. Enjoy your stay!

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The home is within walking distance of all the cute shops and restaurants in Manitou. It is also very close to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. The home is quiet and kitchen is equipped with everything needed. Plan on coming back again!

We just finished celebrating my husband’s birthday in Manitou Springs. We prefer vacations when the car can be parked and forgotten about, and this property is within walking distance to every restaurant and coffee shop and trail that you can imagine. It was perfect! We stayed just shy of a week which was plenty of time to become friends with all of the locals. This is such a beautiful and inviting community. I can’t wait to come back. This property is in a fantastic location, short walk to all the shops and restaurants on the main street through town. Its also a very short drive to many of the attractions like the cog railway, cliff dwellings and cave of the winds. The property was clean and the kitchen had a wide variety of pots, pans and utensils. I would definitely stay here again!

Location is walking distance to everything and it’s right on the creek. There are 3 cabins, we rented one but are already planning a trip with enough people to rent all 3!

We had a wonderful weekend. The location is amazing. Short walk to everything downtown and a 5 minute drive to the Garden of the Gods which was beautiful.
Kids wanted to move in and stay there. They had fun at the arcade and decent food options.
My wife and I went to The Mona Lisa, a fondue place in town that was incredible (not cheap!).
We had breakfast at Persephone Grae's Cafe & Juice Bar which was also quite good. Great pancakes (huge!)

Such a lovely place to stay. Clean and the owners were very communicative. Just exactly what we were looking for for our mini honeymoon. We loved that it was a nice walking distance to the downtown area of Manitou Springs, not too far but not so close that we heard late night socializing.

This house was the perfect place for our stay in Manitou Springs! My husband, our adult children and I wanted the in-town Manitou Springs experience and the house is an easy and quick walk to all of the shops, galleries, arcade, and restaurants. It’s also handy to all of the outdoor adventures we had planned. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed its open style. We found the beds comfortable and slept well after each day’s adventures. Thank you so much! We would definitely stay here again!

Great short walk to downtown Manitou
A nice little property in close proximity to everything great about sightseeing in Manitou and Colorado Springs. Parking is a little tight, so be aware of that and the river and bbq grill isn’t within view of your house due to a fence. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

I loved the location of this property it was about a minute walk away from downtown Manitou but there was construction right in front of the house making it difficult to go into the driveway. The bathrooms were very spacious and kept clean but its not exactly meant for anyone over 6 foot. My partner had to lean down anytime they had to use the mirror or use the shower. During our stay we cooked about 6 meals which wouldnt have been as possible if we didnt have all of the utensils, cookwear and seasonings(salt and pepper) provided so Thank you for that. The livingroom was very family friendly and had netflix, hulu and disney plus which helped make our time enjoyable after doing a lot of excersize during the day.

Great Family Trip
We really enjoyed how close this property is to the main thoroughfare of Manitou. Parking was tricky when we arrived because of construction going on right outside the property, but it was not an issue over the weekend when there wasn’t work going on. The house had everything we needed for our stay and was comfortable.

Super convenient
Super convenient home at the end of the main strip in Manitou Springs with reserved parking. Very convenient to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak highway and North Pole amusement park. We were only there for 2 nights so I didn’t cook much but kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, small appliances. Nice refrigerator, dishwasher and stove. Would be nice if there were some basic spices, disposable to go cups, ziploc bags, foil, etc.
Beds were comfortable but be aware the second floor bedroom has very steep steps to walk up.
Skylights in the house are nice, you can see the stars at night. Well stocked with towels and the washer and dryer are new and laundry supplies were available. Restrooms are nice but I would like to suggest supplying shampoos and body wash. We traveled by plane for 3 day trip and only brought carryon luggage, therefore I couldn’t bring liquids (shampoos and body wash) so I had to go buy them and then throw away because can’t take on plane.
There is road construction right in front so it’s a little messy on the roadway but that’s not their fault. Hopefully it will be completed soon. The little creek behind the home is lovely, there’s another cabin behind this one so you have to walk outside to see it.
Owners were very responsive when we had a little issue with WiFi and TV but they got it working within a few minutes of contacting them. 😀

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Its location was great for us since we wanted to visit Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon, and others. The house is nice. It was great to come back to and get some R and R from our daily adventures. We did find the parking to be extremely tight for our vehicle. We have a Chevy Suburban. With the road construction going on, I had to go past the driveway amd attempt to back in between the house and two other cars so that I didnt have to try and back out and into tje street to get back out. We also didnt realize how clpce we wpuld actually be to the other two homes/cabins. Luckily they were being rented by people who seemed to be very nice and respectful. It was hard for us to truly relax and get away next to the creek when all of the occupants from the houses tried to go out around the same time. This would be awesome for family gatherings though. Two other issues we had we how narrow and steep the stairs are leading up to the second floor, and the half wall separating the second floor bedroom and bathroom, snd the first floor bedroom, bathroom, and laundry. At night you can see the people in the bathroom in the skylight reflection from the bedroom and laundry room. This make privacy interesting with others in the house. We did have a great time here. Communication with the property manager was very good too. When initially booking this house, had i known about the road construction right next to the house and the previous issues and price factor, I might have opted to stay in Colorado Springs / Old Colorado City area instead.
