I loved my extended stay at the Royal Shilton. I extended my stay twice and felt very much at home—it was even a bit sad when I had to leave.
I was surprised how well I managed the noise from the nearby airport. That is really the only negative point about the neighborhood, but for some reason everything else suited my taste so perfectly that I didn’t want to move anywhere else. It was (apart from the planes) a super quiet residential area—peaceful and just outside the lovely hustle and bustle of the One Nimman area. And the slightly dusty charm of the hotel was exactly to my taste.
A shower curtain in the shower would have been lovely, but since the bathroom was so big, it worked out anyway.

Forth time I have stayed here. That's how good it is. Tucked away, but close enough to everything. A short distance to the town center, Maya mall, the restaurant district, the university, the zoo, waterfall and the mountain with is temples.
Charming mini villas in a lush garden with a small pool, old style teak furniture and the biggest bath style indoor pool inside your room that I've ever seen.
Very helpful and friendly family, run this business.
Every now and then you hear an airplane but that is the same all over this side of town.
The big CRT TV which i never use.
These are very small issues and don't bother me much at all.
