Mandarin Resort & Spa

We stayed at Mandarin Resort & Spa in Bodrum from 31 August until 3 September, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it until 5 September. That decision really says a lot about our experience — we simply weren’t ready to leave! From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, the staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and professional. What stood out to us most during our stay wasn’t just the hotel itself, but the people working there. They are extremely hardworking, very well trained and genuinely deserve recognition for the level of service they provide. A special mention has to go to Abdullah from reception, who was welcoming, helpful and attentive from the beginning. He made the check-in process smooth and was always approachable whenever we needed anything. Zeynel from the pool bar also deserves a special mention. He was incredibly attentive and hardworking, constantly making sure guests were looked after and had what they needed. His service really added to our time around the pool. I also want to mention Polat, along with the endless team of cleaners working around the hotel. The housekeeping team work incredibly hard and are constantly keeping everything clean and tidy. Our room was cleaned every single day, and water, tea and coffee were replenished every day. These little things make a big difference, especially when travelling with a baby. The baby cot provided in our room was also very well maintained and clean, which was something we really appreciated. Travelling with a baby means you naturally pay more attention to these things, and we were very happy with the condition of the cot. The waiting staff throughout the hotel were also fantastic. They work nonstop, constantly serving guests, clearing tables and making sure everything runs smoothly. You can genuinely see how hard everyone works from morning until night.

Nothing, we have already decided to return next year!

This is my fourth time staying at Mandarin. Coming back many times means I like this place!

Location, 2 swimming pools, more choice on food , huge rooms , power shower and our cat friends still there and looks healthy.

Close to beach/city center, very convenient. Spa massage/Bath facilities are quite good and value for money. Taxi stand and shops are close by. Dinner is decent with change of menu everyday. Didn't try lunch so no comment.

Main downer is the breakfast buffet. I have had much better breakfasts in B&Bs. Drinks/wine included in all-inclusive is cheap and not to my liking. Safe in the room is not secured to the wall, so anyone can just take it (though you can lock it).. I booked a room for myself and requested a double bed during booking but they only gave me a twin bed. When I asked to change the room with double bed, manager refused me saying I am a single person so no need for double bed. He sounded bit rude but I didn't bother to argue as it's only for few days.
