It was very clean and spacious. The owner was very friendly and supported us very well with everything. At first we stayed at another homestay but it was not good so we decided to find another place to stay. We are glad that we found Paradise Hotel. Definitely we will come back next time when we visit Phong Nha.
P/S: The puppy was cute 🥰

The room was very clean and comfortable. The family was friendly and welcoming. They rented us a motorbike for 150k a day. The free breakfast was very good. Good location. Beautiful view of the mountains from out our window.
A few hours after checking in, we were asked to pay more than the price listed on Booking. They claimed that there was something wrong with the computer and so the price was listed wrong. We felt very uncomfortable and asked for clarification as this hadn’t been brought to our attention at check in. When they saw that we were hesitant to pay the price they asked for, they “lowered” the price for us, but it was still higher than what we had booked for. We just agreed to pay it because we were already settled in and felt put on the spot. We enjoyed our stay otherwise, but we found this interaction very strange and unfair. After finding another review mentioning asking to pay more than the Booking price, it seems that this may be a recurring thing.

Emplacement
Nous avions prévenu que nous arriverions vers 1h30 du matin. La dame de la réception m'avait écrit sur whatsapp en me disant "merci pour cette information". Nous sommes arrivée 30 minutes en avance mais l'hôtel était éteint et fermé à clef. J'ai tenté de joindre la dame de l'accueil a plusieurs reprises sans succès. Pour finir à 1h35, voyant que personne ne venait, nous avons tappé à la vitre pendant plusieurs minutes jusqu'à ce qu'enfin quelqu'un vienne. Ça aurait été quand-même la moindre des choses de prévoir quelqu'un un peu en avance, surtout quand on prétend avoir une reception 24h/24.
On nous a donné une chambre avec un lit dur et l'autre extrêmement mou, un tapis de bain encore mouillé sur lequel gisait une libellule morte. Dans la poubelle il y avait encore des couches sales. Dans la salle de bain (privative) nous entendions distinctement tout ce qui se passait dans la salle de bain d'à côté et dans laquelle il y avait beaucoup de passage (salle de bain partagée sans doute).
Beaucoup d'humidité dans la chambre qui se ressent dans les draps.
Je me suis posée sur la terrasse dehors plusieurs heures sans que personne ne me demande si je souhaitais boire quelque chose.
Ambiance dans l'hôtel très spéciale...
